Stretch it 3x as wide, and twice as long, for an instant gunship. Throw in a bit of Junker yellow, give it only 5 forward guns, and hey presto! <- I am serious on this.
If you wanted to keep it as a light fighter...angled planes. No curves, just straight yellow sheet metal on various angles. Keep it flat however. The latest ship (bulldog) was flat, and it'd be nice to keep this new manufacturing trend.
I would prefer to keep it on the Recycler style, but teeny weeny. Maybe even just a recycler with the majority of it removed leaving just the cockpit, wings and engines (joined together by a very tiny frame).
Nice and small, possibly engines on the wings. Like a Junker speedster, rather than another fat ship that can't turn.
You could make it with 4 class 9's as a LF or as a speedy VHF, rival to the Black Dragon in terms of agility, firepower and size.
