Alright, I have a question for you guys.
I kind of remember that one guy who complained about being FR5'd by a Freelancer working for the RM.
Now, I have a few questions about these Freelancers working for you.
It has come to my attention that the Freelancers you are employing are allowed to kill people on their own.
And by that I mean - people who do not have a bounty on their head.
Now, by looking at Post #1 in that same thread, you can see that the 'blockade runners' are bountied in the Bering and Hudson systems.
Quote:*The Rheinland government is willed to pay any Freelancer or Bounty Hunter pilot, who successfully intercepts a blockade runner inside the HUDSON or BERING system.
Now, I am familiar with the law that only Samura and such are allowed to carry MV's trough Rheinland space.
However, Freelancers can't demand contraband -UNLESS- the target is -BOUNTIED-.
So, we come to a conclusion that said Freelancers behave as Rheinland Military or police, which shouldn't happen.
They are employed to do a certain thing, not to police your space and blow up things they don't like.
They kill stuff without being payed for a specific kill. As far as I know, this is against bounty rules.
Also, said Freelancer didn't have the intention of doing your job, but ruthlessly killing the said transport even if he dropped the cargo.
Excuse me, but not even Pirates are allowed to do that.
You have to give some kind of choice to the people, not just 'You'r caught, I pew pew you'.
So, care to elaborate?

We have a long running RP with that freelancer. To put it bluntly, he is very close to the hearts of Rheinland law enforcement (inRP).
Ill still be looking for those threads about bounties on smugglers and stuff, but this all looks like acceptable RP to me (not stellar, but acceptable none the less.)
If you think this freelancer is violating server rules by allying himself with the house of Rheinland, please contact an admin and get this issue solved with them. I'm here to make sure everything that happens makes good scene in RP and that the people who interact with the [RM] are happy with their encounters, not to split hairs regarding complex server rules.
The Freelancer, by server rules cannot shoot the smuggler unless there is a bounty on the smuggler. There isn't, so the Freelancer was breaking a server rule. That is Chopper's point, you are allowing a person to break server rules and it seems you are fine with it.
An official faction supporting the violation of server rules is a perfectly valid question in a feed back thread. Remember, feed back isn't just about your RP, it is also about your behavior in game and on the forums. Among many other things.
I wasn't involved. And I don't see anything about running in that screenshot.
I also fail to see any demand made. It was just a talk and then 'ok i shoot you now'.
Is RM shooting every smuggler or is it demanding cargo and issuing fines?
Don't get me wrong, if you put a bounty on all 'Rheinland law breakers' and a Freelancer shoots him - it means he's greedy and wants the money - that's okay.
However, there's no bounty. There's nothing.
Would you mind providing the links of your 'close heart' relations so I can understand it as well?
This way he just... Well, shooting stuff.
Also, if he is breaking the rules, he is doing it with your support, and that is why I'm addressing this thread.
It is not a question if he'll be sanctioned or not. It's the question for your faction to provide details on your relations and if you plan to change this.

Then please get out of the [RM]'s feedback thread and take up your complaint with the admins. This is an issue about server rules and a freelancer, not the RM faction.
If I am approached by administration, and they tell me this is an issue, changes will be made.
I will admit though, you do have a point. I'll talk to High Command about extending the bounty form the systems of Bering and Hudson to all of Rheinland.
I got to say that, this looks like you QQing over the fact that someone blew you up in a perfectly logical "makes scene in RP" manner by clinging to the fact that a server rule might have been broken. I see no maliciousness or elitist attitude, no disrespect for player, disrespect for RP or any other violation of common scene or ugliness. As such, I will take no action other the running said bounty issue by HC unless you present me with evidence to the contrary.
EDIT:

I am almost positive mercs and freelancers can do that with a bounty.

RM personnel usually demand cargo or issue an order to land/turn around. Then they shoot when the smuggler tries to run. You show me a person who does not do so with a [RM] tag on his ship and I'll do something about it.
