Why do you want to join the Primary Fleet? In my line of work you make enemies, with no personnel allies beyond my ship I am left hanging in the wind. The hope of joining a larger group is that protection will not remain a dirty word.
How long have you been in the Secondary (Independent) Fleet? Never joined homes, you tend to shy away from showing alliegence in my line of work. Now that I'm tossing my helmet in with you all I felt I should be going for broke; in the same fashion as my line of work is.
What do you think you can bring to us in the Primary Fleet? The traits of a Corsair run deep in my family, give a Corsair a glimmer of hope and you have a man that will fight tooth and nail.

Biography - Planet Crete
Born to planet Crete in 790 A.S where hardship is everyone's middle name the Guillion family is like many of the Corsair lineage. Originally interested in just excavation with his father, Guillion became infatuated with the artifacts his family uncovered in the mines. During the last shift of the week Osiel drudged up a black artifact bearing the regular markings of their creators. Dipping it in the ground water of the mine he brushed off the stuck on muck and glowed in response before fadding back out again. Attempting to replicate the effect he tried repeatedly to no avail.
Taking the artifact with him out of the mine he returned home with his father and told him the story of what happened. Dismissing the story based on effects of long mining runs his father moved on, leaving the artifact to his son. Holding it up to the light Osiel would watch the artifact before he went to bed, running it over in his mind of how it first happened.
Biography - Smuggling
As he became older and more duties piled upon his shoulders Osiel shifted his interests towards the distribution side of the artifacts trade. Using the families M3 "Legionnaire" he began his work by transfering crates first from Planet Crete itself then outwards towards the farther reaching bases.
Taking his own share and hiding it among his belongings from each transaction Osiel amassed his money till he purchased a "recovered" Correo transport. The pay became better, his ship a bit sturdier and his tactics bolder as he worked farther up stream; removing middle men as he went.
By the time he touched down in Trafalgar Osiel's tactics were bold and swift, his reputation one of a man not afraid to tangle with others if the rewards outweighed the danger. Traveling back towards the Omega systems in his fully updated Correo the Bretonian Police finaly caught up to him, gunning his engines Osiel pushed his ship to the limit, running the vehicle into the red limit. With his shields failing and the hull smoldering around him he dumps a quarter of his cargo into space, letting the engine components burying themselves into the cockpit of the closest Hussar.
The Hussar's shock wave ripes into the last of his shield, knocking it out. Debris slam into his engines instantly shutting them down, as the power levels fade he feels the gravity simulator die out as he rises up in his seat. The ship tilts end over end, smacking into the asteriods around him. Ejecting all of his cargo into space around him Osiel removes a black foil blanket, hurridly sealing himself inside the material. Using his headsets communication suite he listens to the low hisses of the remaining Bretonian pilots bickering. Holding his breath as light flashes outside tracking in all his illicit cargo the hissing dies out; slowly unraveling the foil he looks about as his breath frosts before him.
Swearing off the smuggling business Osiel promised to change his line of work from now on.

Please provide a summary of how active you think you will be in the Order|? Example: What hours do you come online? Do you check the forums regularly?
Freelancer is my most favourite game of all time and have no quams playing for a bare minimum of an hour a day. Normally I come online in the afternoons for most of the week days but on Tuesday and Thursday I usually play in the morning at least. The weekends, nearly the entire time I'm playing a game of some sort. Yes I check the forums regularly, it is my filler for when I'm trading by myself.

Section II: About You
Why do you want to join the Primary Fleet?
After seeing several Primary fleet operations fail due to lack of information, coordination and other factors, I
feel obliged to contribute to the humanity's greater good by dedicating myself to the role of a scout, being the
much-needed eye in the sky.
How long have you been in the Secondary (Independent) Fleet?
4 weeks.
What do you think you can bring to us in the Primary Fleet
By utilizing my spying and information-gathering talents, providing the Fleet with much-needed information
that the bulky Recon cruisers could not achieve.

I prefer subtlety over brute force.

Section III: Pilot History
Born to the Rheinlander mother and a Corsair father on the Zoner planet Gran Canaria, I was led to the piloting
career from the early age. The life of a Zoner is a harsh one, but growing up amongst them taught me the
subtle art of diplomacy. Later on, when I got my pilot's license, I got itchy feet leading to a large journey
throughout the entire Sirius, making friends, contacts and acquaintances in all the houses, including Gallia.
After several years abroad, I started feeling homesick, so I decided to return to the Canaria. I settled down ,
hauling cargo between the Zoner stations in the Omegas. Because of my smooth talking, I could avoid most of
the perils unscathed. My clean records got me a promotion, and a much bigger ship to fly. Now assigned to the
deadly Omicrons, the only major threat on my supply routes were the pinky gooish menaces, who knew no
negotiation, mercy or remorse. The Order escorts I received really impressed me, especially their battle
prowess and their cold-blooded dedication. Though being a jolly, talkative persona, I really admired my
guardians, and dumped the well-paid job as a hauler to submit myself to the cause of the Order.

Why do you want to join the Primary Fleet?
A desire to aid the Order's cause and to feel as though I'm contributing more actively to our goals.
How long have you been in the Secondary (Independent) Fleet?
Roughly two weeks, maybe a few days more.
What do you think you can bring to us in the Primary Fleet
I'd hope I was able to be a general help towards progress for the Order. My combat skills are not excellent though I certainly dont consider myself a bad combatant so I suppose that as well.

Honestly I would not know. I'd rather rate myself down than up so I will say five or six out of ten.

Section III: Pilot History
Please provide a brief history of yourself.
I had a Bretonian father and my mother was from Liberty. We were quite well off, living on Planet Los Angeles where I received a good education in the area of Business. After my education I decided to get some work experience and so used the funds I had accumulated over the years to purchase a 'Rhino' freighter. With this I hauled Basic Alloy from Houston to Denver. It went well the first few times but inevitably I was confronted with pirates, having no combat experience at the time I was forced to surrender most of my cargo and even to pay a sum for passage. I attempted the run a few more times, recuperating some of my lost funds before the same happened again. By the time my fourth encounter happened I had not the money to pay for passage and so attempted to escape to the nearest active trade lane. My ship was damaged and I had to eject all of the cargo to distract them. Making it through the New York jump gate and to the planet New York, my ship was beyond repair. With what little money I had left I decided to buy the most basic civilian vessel, the 'Starflier', and kit it out. I was too ashamed at having lost all the money I'd built up to go back to my parents so after a day of practising I felt confident enough to attempt freelance work for the Liberty Police. It felt almost like retribution on those pirates that had taken from me, even though I expected to rely on the support offered. Surprisingly I was not bad at combat though not amazing either, I took several more till I was paired with another freelancer for an assignment.
After this, myself and 'Cobrastrike' as they called themself, became good friends and began working together on mission frequently. Both of us managed to advance to 'Startrackers' then we each bought a 'Hawk' and finally after much work we purchased an 'Eagle' each and equipped ourselves. I'd gone above and beyond what I'd started out as a hauler with but felt no urge to go back to that or business in any way. A while passed and both myself and 'Cobrastrike' had explored and worked from Liberty, to Bretonia, to Kusari in our exploits. But one day I got a distress call from my friend, 'Cobrastrike' was being pursued and attacked by a member of the Liberty Police. Hoping to resolve the situation I made my way to the Magellan Jump hole where the fight was taking place. The officer claimed 'Cobrastrike' had been carrying some sort of alien remains; something I had heard was only present in the Omicron systems. I scanned both vessels, fidning no trace of any remains and at that point made a very rash decision. I engaged the officer, both myself and 'Cobrastrike' dog fighting with him near the jump gate till a cruiser arrived. We were out of our depth and so jumped into Magellan to escape. After the officer came through and we fought some more I told 'Cobrastrike' to flee. I stayed behind and tried to solve the situation that I'd just made worse. The navy cruiser insisted a fine be payed for my assault on the officer, the charge of carrying alien remains was dropped due to no evidence. I payed the fine for both myself and my friend and apologised. I was told to keep out of Liberty space and so moved about from Bretonia to Kusari for work.
While in Kusari we both stumbled across a jump hole neither of us had noticed before, very close to a trade lane in New Tokyo. Curiosity got the better of us and we entered, immediately set upon by Kusari Naval forces. Somehow we survived the assault and flew into the empty expanse of the system. Unable to return the way we came we searched until we came across another jump hole, then another in the system which that led us to until we entered Alaska. Throughout the journey I got the impression my companion knew the way too well. It was not chance that we came across further jump holes, flying almost directly to them from the last but I did not question this as soon we were attacked by vessels of an entirely alien structure. The 'Nomads' as I came to know them were a tough fight and proved a test of my now more developed skills. We dispatched them though, tractoring in the remains. It occurred to me that this is probably the reason I was here in the first place. 'Cobrastrike' had been before, gathered the alien's and gone to sell them to some research centre, the officer had been right. Despite the revelation I did not want to alienate the only person I could rely on. I was tired and in a completely unknown system so I followed my friend again and was taken to the Battleship Atum where we were warily granted permission to dock on the promise of rendering assistance to the cause. The next day we fulfilled that promise, carrying out minor assignments to keep the Navy from the Omicron Minor jump hole. After a few days of this we were told if we were interested in 'The Order' we should head to Omicron Minor and visit both Toledo and the Isis which we did. We were given ID's to the Secondary Fleet and permitted access to pilot 'Nephthys' fighters.
It has been about two weeks since the day we arrived in Omicron Minor and since then I feel I've helped contribute a lot to a worthy cause. Luck brought me here, but it won't carry me further and so here I am, applying for the Order Primary Fleet.

I once was a LPI officer, untill I saw what I should not have. I then
signed for Navy, got promoted fast and was one of commanding officer
on Dreadnaught, untill I understood that I am not keeping to my oath.
Pointless war is about teritory, not about keeping citizens safe. I
understood that the threat is the Nomads, not the other people.
