well, it has a synergy with the removal of 6.7 in the way that capitals will wreck even the properly assembled convoy that is hugging the base, before convoy escorts will do anything (unless they have a fleet there). And in some other instances as well, I think.
Jormungand1: 30 M or dai!
DHC Hegemon2: I have no such sum, I just started to mine!
RM to DHC on priv: Can't help, fighting with RR/LN.
Jormungand1: So?
DHC Hegemon2: I have no such sum! And even if I could had, I'm just commander of mining ship, not owner of train full of ore mined by me.
PEW! You have been owned. Mine somewhere else. These water fields in Magellan looks quite profitable.
Haven't you a feeling server is unbalanced as hell, with advantage on unlawful side? Bandits should be annoying problem, not cause of dying activity.
Cannon,
1) How you're going to buff transports?
2) Exact clarification about how much is too much in piracy demand is more than needed.

1) I'm not going to buff transports but balance is constantly being discussed and changed as this game evolves.
2) It depends on the situation and as always will be considered on a case by case basis. A good guideline is no more than 1/3 the value of the cargo. Keep in mind:
Quote:0.0 Be excellent to one another. Consider the people around you. Keep fair play in mind. It's a game and nothing is gained, or lost, save the experience. Credits can be re-earned. Ammunition replenished. If you become infuriated step away. If you make a mistake apologize. If you wish to remain in system after you die, or after someone has moved away, simply ask.
and
Quote:1.2 Server administrators will impose sanctions on players for violating server rules and for any actions that harm server gameplay.

Sale value or buy value, this is actually good to see written somewhere to reduce ridiculus demands and such...
Same goes for cargo piracy...is someone entitled to demand the whole, 50% or 2only" 33% of the cargo?
Ok, there is something what I cant understand. Its about the balance...
There are police factions who can observe the lanes and call support if needed. They can monitor whole houses. It depends on players.
There are military factions who are allied with their police neighbours. They have battleships, cruisers, abombs, etc. So they can kill those pirate cruisers what have been explored by donut guys. It depends on players.
There are freelancers who are hireable as a scout. /Add Cannon's idea. It depends on players.
And when I see this situation I cant say more just, everything is possible and being balanced, but...It depends on players.
change the docking rule, if a transport docks on a base it should not be considered dead... or else we will have fireflies like pirates... enagebun transport and let it dock... bam! the transport is not allowed to play for 4 hours...

Thank you, but it would be good to consist 1/3 of value to rules, with except of hating each other factions, for example Ageira and Hackers.

Note that the transport can play again within this time limit. They need to leave the system within 10 minutes and they MUST be permitted to leave. As the rule stands they cannot return to the system but they can go elsewhere.

I agree with this (@Ursus: The trader win scenario) although it will add more complexity to something that just got nicely smoothened out. Also it's all gonna be fine, lawfuls can field larger numbers and are generally better organized and use designations and whatnot so they are easy to identify. Disco is going to be more fun for everyone.
