My name is Karen Jameson. I would like to state that any future attempts made by this lobbying group to publically hurt IMG's image, will be dealt swiftly and efficiently, via legal means. Propagandistic names such as "foe" or blaming IMG for the war between Kusari and Bretonia won't be tolerated.
However I am not here to talk on behalf of IMG. I am here to express my concerns as a Bretonian citizen. As you can see, this power-hungry group concentrates it's fire on 2 main axons. It's co-operation with the Independent Miners Guild and its contributions to Bretonia.
The Independent Miners Guild as everyone knows, has many operations in Bretonian space. These operations are manned in their absolute majority by Bretonian workers and refugees who found a new hope and life inside IMG. My company contributes to the Bretonian economy as much as any other private or public company if not even more since we are not profit-hungry like our competitors and we care about our employees. These employees who are called foes are in fact hard-working Bretonians as well ! It is clear that this power-hungry lobbying group struggles to devide the Bretonian people for the sole purpose of promoting its own agenda !
Bretonians, we should not let this happen. We should be united, even more now in these unfortunate times !
And what is the fault of Gateway regarding IMG ? They merely supply the IMG bases in Bretonian Space with food, water, medical supplies and other necessary mining machinery. They are blamed for giving food and other commodities to their Bretonians colleagues, that is their fault !
We all know that Gateway is a small shipping company, they are not military. They are blamed for not assisting Bretonia in military operations while in fact their task was to bring supplies to Bretonia and utilize their escorts in making these supplies as much efficient as possible. And Gateway serves till the moment I speak this task with excellence despite the fact that it's much smaller than Border Worlds Export !
My fellow Bretonians, in these dire times we should not let this propaganda go on. We should protect our unity at all costs ! Together we can succeed ! I, Karen Jameson, denounce this petition !

This petition is a mere display of ignorance and false political perceptions of an ultra-nationalist fringe group inside Bretonia's society. Consequently, it needs to be contradicted.
The IMG is "the foe itself!", you state in your pamphlet. My sincere apologies, Sir, but that line made me laugh. I will tell Bowex shippers that approach Dublin IMG for a discreet transfer about what they should feel according to your radical statement.
Fact is, the IMG contributes to the Bretonian economy in a multitude of ways. I'll not start explaining because you are not looking for facts and figures but for the outcry of the misguided and easy to influence masses of a war-torn people. You are looking for a scapegoat.
Try. Try harder. And you might succeed to further radicalise the Bretonian society, a brave people that is already under enormous strain, to the point where it will fall apart, torn from the inside and the outside by too many forces and agendas.

Please madam, do not allow your preconceptions and ego to cloud your sensibilities regarding this matter. Your position of authority within the IMG will of course lead you to air any grievances you may feel you have, but they are not technically relevant to this discussion. For that matter, none of your argument strictly is. This transmission does not pertain to the IMG's conduct (as despicable as it may have been in the years leading up to 813), but rather a judgement of Gateway's significance in comparison to Planetform - a subject you have evaded altogether. If you wish to fully debate the concepts contained within your own submission, I suggest you create a new transmission and send it to the Bowex Fringe itself. This is not the place for your off-kilter attempt to create a smoke-screen for Gateway to hide behind.

Madam, you'll find that the ExSec and Security wings of Bowex and BMM both belong to civilian companies too. This does not stop them doing their duty to the crown, and engaging the enemy should the Armed Forces ask it - sometimes without asking it too! There is a word for those who systematically and purposefully avoid doing their duty in a time of war. It is shirker. Once upon a time, white feathers were handed out as an indication of this ailment, but thankfully our great House no longer goes so far as to label cowards in such a manner. After all, I'm sure Gateway has a perfectly good reason for not doing their duty.

There is no propaganda here, madam, only cold hard fact. Planetform has historically contributed more to Bretonia than Gateway ever has. Planetform's current conduct leaves that of Gateway's wanting. The legacy Planetform shall leave far outstrips that of Gateway's potential in Sirius. One day, cities will adorn the newly-living landscapes of Planet Ayr, thanks to Planetform. Perhaps some day, Gateway may deliver the residents' cosmetics and consumer goods. Surely you can see the massive discrepancy in the importance of their job roles? The blatant unfairness of the situation currently in play at the Canterbury trade lane junction? There really is no excuse for allowing Kensington's continued adornment of our trade lanes. Canterbury is the rightful candidate, a fact that simply must be addressed. But yes, indeed. God save the Queen - Carina Regina Imperatrix.

The fact that the IMG contributes to the Bretonian economy is not in doubt. Similarly certain is the fact that the IMG has historically collaborated with the KNF and Colonial Remnant in the past, to the extent that Samura and Hogshan pirates have based from the Hood to plunder Dublin - government records hold the proof. No doubt the troupe of terrorists, malcontents and pirates that have frequented the Hood simply tripped and fell into the docking bay. Repeatedly. The fact that you have now ceased such activities does not change the fact that your organisation has had a suitably shady and suspect past. In any case, you appear to have mistakenly read the wrong tense into my assertion. In 813 AS, the IMG most certainly was the foe - you fellows provided the spark that set off the whole powder-keg. Thankfully, it would probably be unfair to tar you with that term in the modern day. If you wrongly believed that is what I was doing, you have my apologies. That particular statement was included in order to highlight Gateway's past shortcomings. I also thank you for openly insulting the intelligence of the Bretonian public. Beside seeking to perpetuate and serve your own agenda, I am not entirely sure as to the purpose of your gross alarmist hyperbole. From the tone and wording of your message, you'd think we were requesting that Gateway's employees be rounded up and put in camps, with the directors being shot. This is a civil campaign petitioning against a flagrant breach of tradition, sir. I fail to see how recognising Planetform for what it truly is - a magnificent, long-serving and loyal company - will tear Bretonia asunder and "result in serious damage to our beloved home nation". It is a system of trade lanes, good sir, not a declaration of war. Do please attempt to retain a modicum of sense when dealing with such matters in the future. And to think... Pressure group or ultra nationalists? There is a big difference between the two. You are not trying to influence Parliament, what you are doing is defaming private corporations for another reason altogether than simply renaming trade lanes.
Kensington shipping Platform has been on station since 672 A.S. with Gateway Interstellar owning it from its foundation in 775 A.S.
It's been there a very long time and possibly one of the oldest stations in New London. The trade lane, I am sure, was named a very long time before Gateway owned it so to presume anything else is just stupid. Traditions you speak of? These lanes have been known by their names for centuries now. This in itself is tradition is it not?
My suggestion to calm the situation by submitting a compromise clearly has not worked as you have taken it as a sign that we at Gateway will bow down to your nonsense. You are mistaken sir.
The whole point of this so called petition is to degrade the good reputations of Gateway Interstellar, the IMG and even Planetform by dragging them into your nonsense for your own agenda.
And what would that agenda be?
Could you be getting scared that some private companies are doing pretty well and are now encroaching on state run corporations?
Could it be that your group is hell bent on causing unrest throughout Bretonia in this time of unrest?
Could it be that you think the Bretonian people, and Parliament, will not see what you are trying to do and let you carry on?
Could it be that you lot think that if you won this you will then try for something bigger? Planetform next? The removal of Interspace Commerce from Waterloo station? Get rid of Cryer Pharmaceuticals from Cambridge?
Where would it end?
And I will ask again, what is your real agenda here?
I believe this situation has gone on long enough and I have to agree that this petition needs to go ahead in order to stop any more problems from occuring in the future.
There is no hidden agenda here, sah. We hardly have anything to fear from sluggish, incompetent corporations like Gateway, which thrive on cowardice.
It is no more than normal that the visitors to Bretonia are greeted by properly named lanes. I don't see the Lanes in Liberty called 'That Rogue Lane' and 'That Lane Where Spyglasses Hang Out'. No sah!
Gateway is just playing the victim here. And is trying to win sypathy from <strike>retards </strike> corporations without any morals like the IMG. If it were up to me I'd have you all ferried to planet Sydney, and mox bomb the lot of you, along with those pesky zoners!

How are you, gentlemen? I trust that this petition of the utmost importance is serving its purpose? I trust that the time you spent casting the other fine gentlemen of Gateway and IMG in a negative light could not have possibly been spent, oh, helping kittens out of trees? Yes? Well then, if that is the case, carry on. After all, this dire matter of the naming of the trade lane supersedes all else in importance. Your entire war effort could be predicated on confusing the enemy, after all, because they could be looking for an easy fight from those yellow bastards at Kensington, and get confused by Canterbury's name on the trade lane.
Or maybe it's the prestige of the crown that is at stake. After all, when poor, benighted foreigners come to bask in the glory and wealth and, above all, military might of Bretonia and her people, they obviously pay extra close scrutiny towards the labels on the streets, and judge the Crown based on those labels. It is what any logical, upright, God fearing person would do, right? And so, by labeling the trade lanes after such an awful group of yellow dregs, the Crown is obviously cast in a negative light, right?
Wrong. There is little significance in trade lane labels. There is little significance in any of this. This charade, this sham, this shocking departure from any grasp of reality, only serves to divide a nation which, more than anything, needs unity. All of you need to rethink your priorities. The Bowex Fringe are just that, a fringe, and by responding to it, good, upright citizens like Miss Jameson and Mister Henderson, and good Calum McDonald, do little more than give credibility to what should be disregarded as spam. Both Bowex and Gateway have done great things for Bretonia, as have Planetform and IMG. It pains me, A. Human like yourselves, to see brother incite against brother. When considering the pressures which the Bretonian Family has in recent years been subjected to, the division sown by people like the Bowex Fringe weakens the bonds of brotherhood and civic duty that have kept Bretonia fighting so far.
Do yourselves, Bowex, Gateway, IMG, and others alike, a favor, stop being so proud, and just refuse to take part in nonsense like this. Surely a Trade Lane Label isn't worth such bitter venom.

You are, of coarse sir, completely correct. A sham is all this is. There is no worth in this so called petition at all except for the thinly veiled excuse to demean good, loyal, upstanding citizens of Bretonia by some daft, low iq'd excuses for human beings.
Although i will say it seems that a lot of Bowex pilots seem to fall into this catagory.
But that is another argument for another day.
