Bug: Hegemon doesn't have mining bonus 3.0 for Helium in Penn
Assumed reason: Hegemon isn't considered as a mining ship.
Calculations:
1) I tried Freelancer ID + IFF + Surveyor = 2101 helium per 10 shots = means 200 average speed.(let's consider it 3.0 standard)
2) I tried Kamome + GMG ID + IFF = 2132 Helium per 20 shots = 106-120 average (2.0 bonus for GMG matches)
3) Freelancer ID + IFF + Hegemon supposed to show number's like for Surveyor, but
I received 68 average helium per shot.(Heavy mining 3 class were used all right)
4) (Hegemon results match when other player tried mining with Mastadon(not mining ship) + Freelancer ID, he had the same 67 average helium per shot)
I believe this is due to Hegemon not having a bonus towards Helium and Helium 3, because of them being fuel/gases. This is specifically why the Kamome exists: As a gas mining ship.
Likewise, Hegemons have a higher mining rate with ores, which Kamome cant mine effectively

in FLhook, we can see ID of ships which receive mining bonus https://github.com/DiscoveryGC/FLHook/bl...ontrol.cfg

IT can mine everything else but it cant mine h-3 its also the worst ship in the game anyway
The situation discussed is not about "helium-3", but about "helium".
worst or not. it's a ship with big cargo.
It could be not a bad thing for beginner's helium mining,
being a transporter at the same time.
Technically I would not mind having only GMG mining helium. But they have a lower drop rate than Freelancers. 2.0 instead of 3.0 bonus. And Hegemon could be bought right there near Erie as a ship for beginning miners.
1. Helium 3 and Helium come under same class
2. Larger the hold of a ship, slower the mining rate
3. Gun overlap: Smaller the ship, closer all the guns. so multiple turrets able to shoot same asteroid, better(Multiplied) Yield
4. Penn field is specifically geared towards new players, so I assume Hege doesnt qualify for the same bonus as a freighter (For Kamome GMG mining bonus applies)

Ticket could be closed.
Your third point has made a point
Firing from cockpit view of Hegemon with concentrated fire from all turrets, I have 120-150 average income per shot in Hegemon
