Well, folks, it took us awhile, but we finally got the 'ole 'moth's systems patched up enough to get 'er back in space. The ion storm hit her hard, but she's spaceworthy again. Made our first hop a short one, for safety's sake. We're lettin' the Beth's techies go over 'er with a fine-tooth comb to make sure there's nothin' we missed, but I think we got everything ship-shape. Expectin' to be cookin' on all burners in no time. In the meantime, I got myself a Virage all set up...err...mostly. She's a work in progress. Registry's [TAZ]Linus.Koios, since she's my personal funmobile.

I received a message from some new neighbors in the Coronado system flying under the tag ICMG. Miss Nina Starcatcher is the lady I've been dealing with their. We currently have no issues with them and I'd like to keep it that way. Their only request of us is that if we wish to approach the IMG planet in the system, ask first. Last I knew, we have little business there anyway so I don't see this as being an issue. The most we do in Coronado is fly through it. They and their families are living aboard some IMG capital ships so be respectful of them too.
If you have any problems with someone, please let me know. I don't want any conflict with our neighbors.

Re: Somethin' or other.
'Ello, 'ello! Me and me crew just got back from our last trade run. Plenty o' interestin' sights, though the trip was mostly uneventful. We started out with flyin' up to Gallia. As usual, the Royals were expressing thier disapproval over me presence. I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't express it with hot plasma. Only me wife's fury after I got home from a night o' drinkin' is more frightening. She can inspire a man to reach for the stars, if ye take me meanin'....
We managed to get out of Gallia with all our parts intact, which always makes fer a good day. Since we had a whole load o' tobacco in our hold, we hauled it down to Coalition space. Me Russian's not so good (neither is me Arabic or Chinese, fer that matter), but from the look on the face o' the loadin' crew said it plain enough. I"m not sure I understand what the big deal is about the stuff. I tried smokin' some on the way down here, and I didn't catch any sort of buzz at all. Even puttin' it in a water bong didn't help. To each their own, I guess, but I won't be smokin' it again.
After a brief stay in Coalition space, we carried some Coalition-made Engine Components to Gran Canaria. It's been a while since I've been through Omega-50. Not really missin' much, but I assume the people livin' there like it well enough.
As usual, we loaded up Deuterium for Ames, and yet again, our trip through Bretonia and Liberty was quiet. I keep hearin' how dangerous Liberty is, but I've not once had trouble there. We arrived at Ames, but only stayed long enough to offload the deuterium and take on some Digi-Principias.
Once we got to the Cortez system on our return trip to Baffin, we met up with [TAZ]Aes_Sidhe. He's a fine lad, and we made it home safely.
If ye need me, I'll be down in the galley makin' some o' me special brownies. After that, I'll be chillin' in the biodome fer several hours or so.
Phew. What a day. Whoever said a little trip out to FP11 was easy??? First up I got lost in '41. Had to pull into FP4 and ask directions. They all laughed at me. And radiation repairs cost me a fortune.
Then, I see those elderberry-smelling Nomads are carrying CDs! Now that's just plain cheating. As if mounting shields is not bad enough. They cost me a bloody lot in repairs. Blue, wobbly, stinky, gourd-sniffing.... nerf herders, the lot of em.
On the way out of Kappa, my narrow seat-filler was saved by a lone Corsair. His call sign was something about smashing babies... reminds me of an ancient minstrel group, although they were into pumpkins IIRC. I gave him some dough for his trouble... but the senor decided to stick to me like two-week old scrubbies. He proposed I loan my cargo space for his ill-gotten gains while he goes pirating. Can you believe it?
Bloody cheek! But I wasn't about to be rude to a half-insane cousin-muncher, especially on his own turf. So I greased his palm a little more decided to cool my heals in Crete bar.
What a freakin disaster. I think I'll stick to less dangerous climes from now on, like Zone-21 minefield or some such.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
@Out
ps. I hope those blimmin Corsairs appreciate this little donation I made. Coz I won't be dropping food out there for a long while. Oh well at least I can catch up with my old Junker pal.....
Goosey, I'm home! Eris, I wish you'd stayed in Baffin for the Wedding, your Whimseyness. Your particular brand of Chaos wasn't well-received, I'm sorry to say.
Popes Tyler and Willy, good to hear from ya. You're doin' it right, lads!
Doc, anything pending I need to affix my buttcheeks to? If not, I'll be spending a few days at Geode center, to clear the "wedding wackies" out of my poor Pineal.
What's this I hear about a new Hookah Bar opening in Shasta's biodome? We don't offer enough attractions and diversions as it is? Ah well, Tell me when the ribbon-cutting is scheduled. I'll break out some Alamout Black for the occasion.
Oh, and if someone named Felix Cabulb calls, I'm not in!

Hooker bar? Hm. We'd become quite popular. I didn't know if Reggie still had a bar on Shasta. I mean, I know we have a tavern for those passer byes but didn't know if we had anything formal. Not like we can't make what we have better!
"Hookers"??? I'm sure our skyclad Priestess caste would raise some objection to being called that, Doc? They insist it's called "sharing water"...
I said "hookah". You know... looks like an octopus with smoke coming out of its head?
The only "recreational" properties currently owned by Waverly LLC and Laughing Goddess are Sophie's Cafe in Port Canaria, and that blighted "Hope's Haven" on Belfast. We ceded the Perfect Blossom on Roppongi to the IND, and they haven't had much better luck with it than we did..
If someone wants to step up and manage a dive on Shasta, we can sure give it a try. Can't gobble any worse than our other attempts, sir.
Oh, and I found Kyte. We're currently having a game of Scrubby Dodge Ball in the Geode, and she's beating the loincloth off me. Back to the game!

Addendum: Oh Thud! Doc will deal me off the bottom at our next poker game for not mentioning the Pleasantview Lounge on Med Force 1. Sorry bout that, Doc. Tuesday nights, right?

*clearing throat* OK What I had to say.. aaaa....
New License... New Ship... empty pocket....
New Ship Is Flying!!! Newer see smoother ride of this size i my life the best 115 million invested in my whole life...( other voice in background: I told You should buy me that cruiser not that flying batch tube)
Shut up your mouth Simon!!!
Sorry about that...
My maiden voyage take me to Omega 50 with some shiny sparkly pines. On my way In tau 31 some Samura guys disagree with my view on Emperor's daughter looks and some ass from Imperial Navy decide that he clean barrels of his Battleship using me as practice target. Fortunately cruise works perfect in my new ride so i leave area in hurry After some inertial business in Omegas I load full cargo of Deuter and head to FP 2...
In Magellan I meet strange Ship... In appearance that was typical Conference gunboat but voice from com was synthesized and inhuman... Pilot of that ship call himself UNIT. He/She/It ask some question (was very polite) and after that offer free escort service to FP2. I finish my trip with delivery of robotic Arms to Skyhook.
Long way but worthy.. Estimate Net Proffit around 24 mil
(another interruption from Simon: Good Maybe If You Start Flying more often I can Afford That cruiser at last)
* sighs*
Ok That's It for now see You in Space Lads...

Kallisti! I would like to make an annoucement concerning the reorganization of my ship staff.
I fired them all because they kept stealing my gallic wine. Last time they piss me off.
So i dropped them in Sygmas space. Hope they will be fine.
*Gabriel makes his angry face*
I just kept Saaz because he is a good officer, even if he steals my wine sometimes.
*Gabriel puts his feet on the desk, takes a glass and pour some wine in it. He then bottoms up.*
Ahhh. I needed that. So what i was saying already?
Ah yes. The new crew.
*He takes some files on the desk, and opens the first one.*
So, i realized i needed some doctor, to help me after my *cough* hangovers. So i found this guy; Named Korbah.
What is that? Proctolog? Well i don't know what it means but i guess it's a good speciality. Also he had a lot of fancy pills called Prozac. Uh, i guess it's good medecine.
Ah yes. When i met Korbah, there was this weird boy who tried to steal pills from the Doctor's reserve. He seemed to be high, but he was funny so i took him. His name is Hype and he does stuffs. He sleeps the day and steal prozac at night. So he will do nightshifts!
Oh, i needed a guy to put stuffs in the engine. So i searched for a rather stupid boy who would accept such a silly job. And i found Ain. He puts stuffs in the engine all day long. That is all.
Then... the security chief.
All security chiefs are bald. So i took Holluz, because he is bald. Also he says he doesn't give a fruit. Perfect match for the security chief of my ship.
Also i needed a cook. I found this fat boy, Vipharass, in Delta who was cooking only with his thumbs. Uhhh. He appears to be a taco specialist. What is that? Guess i will find out some day.
And the last one. *He opens the last file*
Ya see... i needed some dude who can be sacrified for the greater good.
So when i meet an ugly female who keep me enprisonned until i accept to marry her, i can throw that guy as a bone while i'm escaping. His name is Gorb and he wears a red coat.
I still need two more people for my crew to be full. Possibly females, in order i don't have to rely on freeports when drunk.
