1. The two sides fighting each other is of no help to no one. The Bretonians are on the short side of the stick though because they are in a long and exausting war with the KNF and would probably prefer not to have a second war on there flank. I don't have any hard contacts in the BAF, but i would venture a guess that there stockpiles are almost non-existant. The LN is trying to restock them, but they are fighting the RM as well and could lose a lot of there stockpiles too with the fighting. The GRN threat against the LN is no help either.
2. We can policially support them as in "We stand with them, nothing more" as in no military support and no financal help. If the RM try to push us into fighting the Hessians, i'd venture a guess that the IMG would not stand for it. It might result in a "we hate what you (the RM) did and we, the group, condone your actions"
3. The Hessians could benifit from a cease fire against the RM and like-wise. The Hessians could then rediect there forces used to fight the RM to the corsair fight and possible beat them back.
so in short: * Military support for: Neutral (as long as possible)
* Political support for the Red Hessian cause: Yes (as long as no military help is requested from either side against the other)
* Attempt at brokering a ceasefire and diplomatic resolve of the conflict: Yes (could even work together against the corsairs if brokered right)
