I agree though. Every time I log on Alpha is either empty or there's a few silent people sitting around, not answering when spoken to.
I think also the inactive OC is due to the fact, that there aren't much to do except from raiding Gamma (which is slightly more difficult with the new layout, plus the fact that Corsairs have their plate full at the moment), smuggling (which you might as well do on a junker character) and a bit of random piracy. All the other factions in the area are hostile towards us (even the Gallic ones which I think is an epic fail on whoever made that decision). Only (some of) the brets tolerate us, and only if we are risking our lives pewpewing their enemies. Even our lolberty allies are fed up with us.
So not much fun at the moment, really.
EDIT: OC might be a "gank faction", but it is nothing compared to the way we are getting ganked by everyone and their mother, in highly unlikely alliances.
EDIT 2: Also I know I can't change lore and whatnot, but I think it would have been brilliant if the "dying embers" of the Council saw the benefit in working with the OC, using the back entrance in and out of Gallia through OC space. It would "revive" the Council / keep them just a little bit more safe from the GRN, because as it is now, the council is boxed in it is own few systems. And in the long run, this would open up to some interesting OC-Bretonian-Council tactics, launching attacks on several fronts against the GRN.
