Dr Metzger,

Excellent, most excellent. The data provided suggest that your design is adequate for our needs. That indefinate scaling isn't possible is regrettable, but I suppose having multiple filters in a parallel setup as you suggested should help with that. I'm not particulary worried with concentrations being so high that the filter efficiency would be compromised. Concentrations that high can be reduced by simply washing the bulk of the contaminants out of the atmosphere with a traditional water curtain, or diluted by flushing cleaner air into the filter intakes. But I suspect situations where a saturation rate of over 20% is present will be frequent - and when such a highly contaminated atmosphere is present, it'd likely be more efficient to vent the contaminated atmosphere into space.

I'm eager to see a functional prototype in action. Would a demonstration be possible?
