This is Silekar.Dravin reporting in on a very busy night. Other things may happen tonight, but I wanted to report the many events that have already occurred before they become foggy in my mind. Also, I can't go out and fly yet for an hour or so since the doc on Ouray is insisting on the "don't drink and fly" rule right now, but we'll get to that in a moment. First, the major event and combat reports of tonight.
In regards to the "Big Game Paths" event:
Target: Llama's_Luck, no affiliation
Ship: Heron Cargo: Neon (2890) from Erie
Destination: Rishiro
Notes on Llama's Luck: After a lengthy conversation, I determined that Llama is a Liberty born trader, taking cargo from Liberty and exporting it to foreign houses. As such, I spared Llama's cargo and escorted her/him to the Kepler jump gate. Correct me if I was wrong to help her out. If anyone spots Llama importing foreign goods, let me know, and I will hunt her down myself.
In regards to the "All You Need Is Guns" event:
Though my cargo space is limited to 62 units, I saw a gun shipment and targeted it. I spent the next couple of hours scanning every transport-class ship I could find, but unfortunately I have had no further luck tonight. I dropped the guns off at Ouray, and here is proof of the transaction:
Now that the event stuff is out of the way, I have two combat engagements to report, and one peaceful surrender of cargo.
[color=#FF0000]:::Enemy engaged:::
Engagement location: New York
Ship Type: Civilian Deep Explorer
IFF: None
Outcome: DESTROYED
Evidence:
Notes: Refused to communicate, opened fire, and attempted to escape twice. Carrying cargo, but I don't remember what it was (pirates were nearby, so I didn't have time to investigate, and my ship's computer didn't log the cargo scan).
Notes: Was carrying 8 Xeno pilots, refused to communicate, attempted escape, and fired on my vessel. Seeing as he kidnapped our people, I was more than happy to vaporize his ship.
Cargo Surrendered Peacefully
Location: New York
Ship Type: Transport
Cargo: Cobalt (2943)
IFF: Navy
Evidence:
Notes: Did not attempt escape, even cut engines without my prompting him. I took the cobalt I could carry, and destroyed the rest. Unfortunately, the cobalt I did take never made it back to base, as I dropped it in favor of carrying light arms (after dropping it, I destroyed it of course).
All in all, it has been a very busy night tonight. I don't know if I will go out again tonight, but if I do, I may file another report tomorrow. Also, if anyone reads this tonight, come to Ouray and join the party that those 8 Xenos I saved are throwing.
Silekar.Dravin
P.S. The bartender said all drinks are on the house tonight in celebration of our returned pilots, so really, come to Ouray before the party is over.
***Transmission Terminated***
***Transmission Re-established***
Apparently my Comms device has issues transmitting images at the appropriate size, so I am uploading a link to a data storage unit where the images should be available for viewing at a larger size when accessed. Also, I have retransmitted the images with as much size increase as my comms system was able to transmit. I will continue to look into repairing this thing, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Said the pirate to the merchant: Your money or your life?
Merchant: What was the question?
Pirate: Pay or Die!
Merchant: That's not a question.
Pirate: Hand over 2 mil you corporate flunky, or be atomically disgronified!
Merchant: Sorry, I can't hear you, too busy docking.
Pirate: Wha... Dang it. *Turns to the new recruits* And that is why you shoot the trader who refuses to cut his engines. You just have to make sure you asked them to stop, and threatened them properly before you space them. Also, record your conversations in case the dead come back to complain. That's how it works here folks. Now go out and cut yourself a piece of the corporate pie!
