Why people hate Gallia?

Combination of Huge and depopulated (which falls under 'Other' I guess). I spent about a week on a Gallic Royal Police character without ever really running into anyone. And then there is the balance issues - things (even the jumpgates) in Gallia packs a punch, which is a problem if you are not in a heavily armored ship.

It is a shame, because it is a beautifully crafted sector rich in atmosphere and lore. Perhaps when we get a reduction in the total number of systems in Disco, Gallia will be playable. Also add a few more factions - especially factions aiming at making friends in the rest of Sirius. I have an OC character, for instance, and I would like to be able to interact with Gallia (we even have a base there) but everyone but +LE+ (perhaps not even them) despise us. A bit more nuance in the factions and their motivations, as everything tends to boil down to black/white, lawful/unlawful, republic/crown, which limits the scope to pewpew really...
