So, an isolated incident with a single Flieger who is still learning makes the entire argument obsolete? Ok.
I remember an incident about a year ago when Tony was still playing, someone contacted me on skype about being ganked in Omega-7. So I asked him for details, and he basically described to me a duel between two fighters. So I ask him "how is that ganking?", his response was "because the player who flied against me had much bigger skill so it was unfair toward me".
Point being, you wouldn't have won against that force anyway. You could've tried against the fighter in 1v1, but there is 9/10 chance you would lose. Against gunboat 1v1 there is 10/10 chance unless he literally stops shooting you and just takes punishment. Why did you engage a force you can't hurt? You can't blame the other side for your lack of common sense... if I attack the RM who are sporting RNC in backup, I expect to be shot back by them. That's not the issue here however, it's the "play to win" attitude sported by one member of the RM high command.
