The war has cost many space marines on both sides - but the messy ground conflict never took off between Kusari and Bretonia. This limited the conflict largely to spaceship versus spaceship, and in terms of lives lost for the houses, not very siginificant numbers (spacecraft/resources lost is another matter).
Bretonian pride took a bit of a beating, but I think their hatred of Gallia (the new agressor) kind of overshadows their feelings against Kusari citizens. In Kusari itself it's probably even less of an issue. Kusari society has xenophobic tendencies to begin with, and their side was the winning one in the Bret/Kus conflict.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
