' Wrote:Maybe what you said applies to people who have all the time in the world, Marb, but I have a mod to build and a job to work, amongst other things. The last thing I want to do in Discovery is waste my time doing lonesome OORP grinding so I can actually get the weapons for my ship.
Now, if you're gonna tell 'Sair here not to be lazy, then why not suggest he goes through all the guns/bases in the game and fixes the reps required for stuff. That'd actually pay off in the long run.
I work for a living too & yet I have no problem doing what it takes to get what I want. Sure, it takes longer but so what?
Like myself, I understand that people have other hobbies to juggle alongside work & disco, but if another hobby takes time away from disco hobbytime, then a person should simply learn to accept that getting what they want will take longer than they would like & get past the whole 'I want what I want when I want it' mentality. Zero sympathy for them.
Higher difficulty for purchase increases rarity & rarity increases the value of having it (& I'm not talking monetary value)
The 'I don't have time' excuse is really just that. An excuse. Yes, I'm stubbonly opinionated about this but it's simply because I understand & practice the concept of delayed gratification in my gameplay & just happen to hate homogeneous changes in the mod...especially ones that specifically cater to & enable laziness.
Besides, everyone here understood from the start when they got here that this game involves alot of grinding. It's just the nature of the Beast.
