As Necroth's report covers every segment of the last day's operation, I just want to provide some additional visual data.
When I've heard the story of the lost fleet, helping Necroth wasn't a question for me. As a family, we share joy and sadness, your burden is ours too.
So, our investigation party departed from Phoenix Spaceport and ventured to the deep Omicrons where even the bravest pilots of Sirius would meet the feeling of the fear.
As expected, in Iota our cruise to the newly discovered system was disturbed by several alien ambush but we managed to overcome those situations and succesfully reached the jump hole of Omicron-99 and we ventured forth.
To tell you the truth my friends, I've never expected that I will experience something so dreadful: maybe the largest speciment of the nomads a living person could see with his/her bare eyes.
Luckily enough, our ships were powerful enough against them and killed those beasts at the cost of heavy damages. We've decided to retreat and finish our survey since we got what we've came for: information about the missing Zoners. After collecting some alien remains for further investigation in our labs we have departed from that heavily infected system. Strangely the backroute was calm and our team was able to return to our spaceport in one piece. The remains were handed over to the science department, I hope they can find out something interesting which help our cause.
The last part of the day was also interesting thinking of the rheinlander capital ship we have encountered in Delta. Quite strange that a house military ship showed up out here. As Necroth mentioned we had a little talk with him, yet he was mysterious about his intentions. He was mentioning something about "rogue agents", but wasn't more specific.
Necroth summed up the rest of the conversation, so I don't have anything to add. Anyway, we should be more aware in Delta.
