No, it was not just the character. I think you're nuts.
You chose to put yourself in the middle of a conflict you weren't even part of, you chose to write essays over essays of silliest accusations against official faction players, who, according to you, are trying to get rid of lawful indies so their unlawful faction friends have an easier time pirating. Do you even read this stuff before posting? Your theory reached the peak of its humor when you stated that

You chose to dismiss any points and evidence presented to you as "edited chatlogs and forged screenshots", and went far beyond the point where I could see I was dealing with either a troll or a complete lunatic.
"I like Karlotta!"
"He makes some good points."
My opinion?
It doesn't matter if the points he makes are good or not as long as he defends them the way he does. A manner which turns any discussion into a mud-wrestling match of people throwing baseless accusations at each other.
My problem with how he defends it?
He strikes me as the kind of person who is too lost in his fanatic ideas to ever concede a point to someone who doesn't agree with him.
For example, he would never acknowledge it when presented with evidence of official factions doing something for indies.
He will never admit that he is wrong about something.
It simply does not fit into his view of things.
Instead, he discards every shred of evidence contrary to his ideas as product of a grand, unknowable conspiracy against him. The admin/official faction/skype conspiracies you always hear about. A nice way to label all those who disagree with him as "admin asskissers" and instantly dismiss their statements as biased. Of course, the circumstances allow him to do just that quite effectively, since he's managed to get everyone to antagonize him. Just look at how fast those supporting him here turned to such means.
"Crackpunch, haha, why listen to what he says, he just the lapdog of the admins anyway. Yarr. Admin ass kisser."
Yes, he keeps coming back, but why? Does he like this place so much? Personally I assume it's the attention it gives him, for which he keeps returning. Here, he is the infamous Karlotta, the self-declared messiah, savior of the oppressed community, slayer of the evil admin and faction alliances! I would bet he enjoys the dicussions as they talk, ask and hold their tongue about him.
