Golly caught a Junker Barge full of slaves at Malta, told the IMG who brought it to the Congress. Silver was also there and told the Corsairs, who also brought it to the Congress. The Junkers thought that we were the ones who ruined things with the Corsairs, but I think the whole thing blew over.
Maybe if they are a bit less careful with their barges in future it could happen, it would be interesting to say the least.
So that's how it appeared to outsiders eh? Heheh, this is why I love Junker roleplay. Transformers man, more than meets the eye and all that.
The Congress has two houses against it inRP, just because they're inactive, doesn't mean that factions should start turning red to us.
Also if you made the IMG/GMG red to Junkers (I assume that was to combat the Congress's diplomatic power), regular Junkers get screwed over because they don't have the same resources.
As for Junkers hiring mercs to fight the mercs hunting them? Stupidest idea I've heard in a while. Waging a war in Disco does not hurt an enemy. We'd be pouring money down the toilet, unless we had a small fleet protecting each one of our convoys against a group of mercs that MIGHT attack us. Might as well just roll around with a bunch of .:j:.. It would be different if enemies didn't respawn, or lost their ships on death (although they'd be losing fighters and we'd be losing expensive transports).
"But Crackpunch, you always talk of how rich Junkers are!" Well we didn't get that way by fighting pointless wars. Conflict is generally bad for our business.
