A chance encounter by Sentry of a man, Corke, of the Warhound Brigade whom he appeared to know led us to have a short discussion. Although he appeared to know little of we Colonials, we know 'the basics' about the Guild Core itself. As was evidenced by an encounter with a freelancer, they are open in their dealings in Nomad biologics. However, there is no need to make a new enemy, nor to arouse the suspicion of the Order - neutrality seems the best course for now.
I also ran a sweep of Tau-44. Although the Fallen Grace Rebels have stationed themselves there, what I expect is a significant force - represented by one Lynx on patrol - still seems loyal to the King. Leading him to be lost in the radiation field of Mindanao, I returned to Falkland unscathed.
Unfortunately while testing our heat-resistant shielding, there appears to be some problem which will have my Nyx decommissioned for the foreseeable future.
Frost almost didn't believe me when I told him in the bar afterwards, but seems I've scored a couple of kills worthy of getting into this channel. Here's the story:
So I run into this Pirate carrying a bit of Cardi, which of course we can't be having. He was obviously pretty scared of my skills since I chased him all the way to and around for a few laps of the gate! When I've got him real scared, one of his buddies show up, shortly followed by a donut-eater who didn't have a clue what was going on. After a quick explanation, he jumped in and with a bit of fancy flying and gunning I took out not one but both of them, then burned the drugs.
Cool as a cucumber, I then finished my route, some Cobalt dropped off on Denver. Earned me a few drinks, so I'll take that as a job well done!
Safe skies,

News from the Leeds front this time,
To follow up my precision strikes against the Chant, the Circaete was the second Royal capital vessel to have its fuel reserves detonated by the tachyon weaponry. Another kill for Intellect, and a reminder to you all how to do things.
You also know the deal with the Kusari Naval Forces now: they imitate the Gauls in their trades and targeting of our civilians and are thus to be engaged where advantageous. Be on the lookout for those willing to fight against them on our side, but of course take out any Maltese or Gallic forces when they are the bigger force.
