2. Texas was a separate country back in the day, so ya can't fault present day Texas Pride. It's pretty cool being American overall given our rebellious genesis as a nation, but let's be honest: Being American is simply secondary to being Texan. I feel sorry for you that you missed the boat on being born native. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you...I'm sure your parents were good people & raised you right...it's just that you were unfairly robbed of the grace of being Texan by birth.
