Solar Engineering is a Gallic corporation focusing on high-tech industries. Solar is rumored to have ties with criminal factions such as the Brigands and Unione Corse. Solar generally does not operate outside of Gallic space.
Solar Engineering having ties within the Corse?

Corse claim that their hidden influence in the government protects them, but some suspect that GMS or EFL do not desire the authorities to make too much progress in efforts to combat hypnotainment band traffiking, since it somewhat discredits Solar's safety claims and disrupts the company's financial security.
We're jeopardizing and ruining the reputation of the whole Corporation. I don't think those are 'ties'.
If anything, we have ties to the GMS in regards to captured Sirian ore. Ties to the ELF are unecessary as the Maquis already supply us with fuel (through their own ELF ties, ironically enough).
