Went on my first patrol and was accompanied by Warrant Officer Lazarus Mercer, I took the initiative of acting CO, Mercer complied. We went straight for 23 and began there, quickly moving over to 37 for a full scan all the way down to the Alpha Hole. Not much resistance until that point, a few 'cast patrols here and there but we took them without much of a problem. I decided to take the risk and jump to Alpha, luckily the Malta Defense Grid wasn't really heavily manned at the time and we only came face to face with a few small patrols at first, they were dispatched to hell quick enough.
Though they had alerted their heavy guns, Malta defense replied with a dreadnought patrol, we cruised around their defense grid for around 5 or 10 minutes before returning to 37, no damage sustained. We continued the patrol to 37 and to 29 from there and back to Coronado. Nothing major in either system, just some Royal Navy patrols which we took care of.
Both of us reported back to Sabah, no damage. Although we did collect quite a bit of loot, enough salvage to make sure a few of our fighters keep flying for a while.
