Let me share my experience from what is happening in Magellan, and all balance issues what comes from it.
Galics spam tons of cougars, we get huge number of bombers ( mostly Punishers)
raiding Magellan on daily basis ( sometime with Valor so they can resupply regens on it ).
Now the balance issue is that Cougar is still so OP.
If it a medium bomber a bit smaller then navy bomber, but with fighter agility.
Devs, please, at least test ship or log to Magellan and look at Galic vs Navy/BAF battle to see for yourself how OP this toy it is.
5 Navy fighters cannot kill cougar fast enough before he run to Leeds hole ( from 25k distance ) and next run to Leeds to camp battleship or resupply.
LAC was meant to be anti fighter/bomber carrier, but, it cannot stop cougars from killing navy fleet because this bomber is so agile. Cougar can literally RAM/SNAC carrier under it is 27 turrets fire.
The only weapon what works against them are gunboat and fighter missiles, but only when there is no lag, and in big battles there is lag.
Can you at least check the mass and turning rate on cougar, because it turn like fighter and is impossible to hit.
Next issue are Light fighters shields.
Even with guns buffed, liberty light fighter shield is bugged, so yea, Light Fighters what navy desperately need to fight super agile cougars, we cannot use because they can be KO easy, because shield is bugged. Can it finally be fixed, thank you very much.
Next issue, upholder with reduced agility is so easy to hit, it is trash as it always was. So yea, navy will never use bomber swarm because their bomber is useless.
Now next are zapping turrets, those are USELESS, in rouge gunboat what with solaris can defend itself against 4 fighters/bombers, with zapping cannot even fight against 2.
And the idea that it is meant to target evading fighters/bombers rather then defend yourself does not work for 2 reasons:
1) Those turrets have huge problem to aim at target in turret steering, they shot in all directions instead of the target, and going into normal mode to aim with them make capital ship easy target.
2) All turrets shot in all directions, draining your core in seconds. Try to put it on 27 turrets on LAC and shot, most of those turrets will shot everywhere but not at target, and carrier power will be drained in seconds, why those turrets does not work like solaris, so that they shot only when aimed. Can you guys already fix this mistake, because why you even work hard to make new weapon if in the end it is trash, just like Gatling solaris, it was trash too,
And finally shock-wave turrets, another useless trash you made and didn't tested.
Those guns have terrible refine rate and cannot hit standing cruiser from 800 distance. And they turn rate is terrible, at least cruiser battle razor had purpose to KO fighters/bombrs, showckwaves are useless and none a single battleship or cruiser use it.
Seriously, why you work so hard to introduce new weapon or toy, without even checking do it is useful at all. Just fix those weapons or remove them and bring old battle razors ( on battleships battle razors were useless because of terrible refine rate, but at least they worked well on cruisers ).
Now, or you will listen to my advices and actually fix balance issues, or at the very least log to Magellan and watch navy vs galic battle and see for yourself that no caps use zappings and shockwaves and that cougars is so OP that LAC and fighters cannot kill it.
(at the very least check cougar MASS and TURN RATE, maybe you just make the mass to small so it turn so well).
