First of all thanks for contacting us. It's a pleasure to see that our services may help that many as you pretend to do.

Regarding your main question, it is possible to terraform planets (or smaller stellar bodies) with hot environments. Said that we have to warn that this kind of process is quite more complex than cold environments.

To explain it in a summarized way, a cold environment usually needs to grow up an atmosphere so as to generate a greenhouse effect on a planetary scale. In this case the main variable to have in mind is how many degrees the average temperature has to be raised. There are a lot of more variables to have into account but in order to have a general idea, this is how the terraform process works as a concept.

On the other hand, a hot environment planet has some more variables to take into account. In the best cases, the main process is to revert the greenhouse effect. This means reduce the atmosphere capacity to retain incoming radiation from the space. Another variable to have in mind is that if the planet pretends to be habitable it needs to have a minimum atmosphere and biosphere, so in cases where the planet have a small or no atmosphere, this process needs of secondary regulatory processes in order to make the planet habitable.

One of the most effective way to do so is to turn more pale the surface of the planet. that means both land and sea surfaces. with this technique the stellar body reflects more radiation to the space thus keeps less energy turned into heat. In order to achieve this it's needed to introduce or favor local flora with pale tones. As you may notice this process at the same time needs a constant control in order to not harm the local flora and fauna until the planet reaches a steady atmosphere. That would, in a short way, explain how we manage to work with hot environments.

As for the second question we are more than pleased that you offer us the possibility to improve our alien organisms database. We have noticed some interesting aspects of those organisms shipped to California Minor. Said that, we have not a full scientific essay regarding your scrubb farms.
