The name is only a placeholder but you get the idea, a huge ship designed to be RP'd as a mobile station and actually look the part. Yes we have the Barge but that thing is a warehouse, a floating factory and has way too much cargohold to not be abused.
We've been talking about this in the Orbitals chat for a few days after we came to the conclusion that most of the ships in Disco wouldn't be suitable for a floating district. Battleships and carriers don't fit our RP and as said previously the Barge doesn't look the part, so we're stuck with Pilgrim liners which work but they don't look like somewhere folks would live. So why not make a new ship for the purpose? I'm sure there are factions out there who would love to RP a true mobile station without needing to build and maintain a base.
The rough details we've got so far is a ship that:
Looks like a mobile station, living quarters, landing bays and food domes etc.
Has 10k cargo or something along those lines so it can store stuff without being abused for trading.
Is SRP only and as such available to all.
If it has a large cargohold (30k+) make it unable to use jumpholes/gates or leave the system it was placed in to prevent powertrading abuse.
Would anyone be interested in giving this a shot or have a few ideas about it?
