Eh I find it kinda hard to applaud it when admins (or anyone else) makes a mistake and actually corrects it, that should be a given and not something to go "wow good job" over.
Admins do lots of other important stuff that we should all be thankful for on a daily basis, but to say "thank you" for this of all things is just meh.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, it's nice that admins fix their own mess; but I would much rather prefer that fewer half-baked decisions rolled out of the admin office altogether, and I will reserve my "thank you" until then.
