Remove the minefields first, they really serve no purpose other than to reduce the size of the playing fields.

If you want to suicide, use the planet.

The Planet is useful as a quick way to respawn. The minefields are not.

If anything, a few asteroid fields of different types would be more useful, for asteroid field combat training.

Edit: On a related note, the most pointless feature of conn is undoubtedly the turrets on New Haven. Why the hell does it have turrets? All they do is interfere with combat at the worst times and cause lag.
