Began with a run in the Tau-23 today. Started with finding something unusual for us, another intelligence ship. Rhineland BDM|LV-Sleipnir was observed heading out of the system as I was beginning my patrol. A full scan was not possible but we con confirm it was one of their fighters. As to why BDM was in Tau-23, is unknown.

While running through the system, I located an IMG mining operation. IMG was mining the ore but I was more surprised by who they were selling it too. The Gallic "Corporation" Union Corse was buying the ore. The area was well defended by both fighter patrols and a Battle Cruiser keeping watch on the area (Obviously not very good at keeping watch considering how close I was.)

After the UC purchased the Ore, I followed their ships up to a JH to Baffin. I would have continued further but my fuel was beginning to run low. We should look into the UC's use of this hole as I find it unlikely that the Zoners are aware of UC ships moving through this system.

On my way back, I made note of a Freelancer firing on Gallic ships by Leeds. The gentleman in question (Ticking.Bomb) may be mentally unstable based on his comm. channel yells.

Managed to listen in on a conversation between the DRED GMS sub-sect and some GRN vessels in Tau-23. Nothing too exciting in general.

These DRED ships keeping making runs into Dublin despite attempts to "Convince" them otherwise. I am recommending a destroy on site order should they continue to appear in Dublin. That should dissuade them from trying anymore.

Dry run today. Picked up a Freelancer (Takashi) moving between Gallia and Bretonia in Leeds. May be worth investigating if this person is a threat or not.

Spent some time over Planet Leeds today monitoring GRN ship movements. Based on the scans, perhaps GRN is having trouble equipping their secondary ships.

First ship was Arc-En-Ceil, a VHF without full equipment.

A short time later, I picked up a GRN eclipse bomber named jaak|trekhaak. Again, not fully equiped.

As I was doing the scans, a Valor showed up. RNS|Gentile.Goethais. She is a heavily armed and armored short range Valor. The vessel began bombardment of the planet surface.

During this, a short communication was picked up from what appears to be a Rhineland ship named Refusion. However no visual was established to confirm. At roughly the same time, a pilot named The_Falcon. Appears to be a Bretonian pilot who was looking for some payback against the Gauls. He never got close enough to get a scan but based on the comms., he might be worth our looking at for possible recruitment. he seems to have the right attitude.

Shortly before I left, a final bomber appeared called Jean.Claude. At least this bomber was fully equipped, even if it was still the Eclipse model. I am early starting to wonder if the GRN are lacking the resources to fully quip these guys. Good news for us I suppose.

We hit pay dirt for scans today. A huge GRN build up in Leeds leading to a massive war in the Magellan System.

This began with me monitoring a few ships in Leeds (See scans for specifics below). During the monitor, a DSE mining ship stumbled through the area. After they extorted the cargo, they destroyed his ship.

As more ships began to appear, a Gallic cargo ship (Supergente) was detected moving through the area. Scans showed a mixed of several cargo types, but nothing to show where it might have been going.

As the war fleet built up, I contacted both BAF and LN. Unfortunately, BAF (Admiral Thunderer) stated they were busy at the moment and could not send ships. (It was later learned they were dealing with a Corsair Cruiser in Cambridge). I then contacted [LN]-John.Rivers who began to rally the fleets of Liberty to the area while I fed tactical data on GRN movements and fleet size to them.

Once we were all in Magellan near Freeport 4, a GRN Valor (GRN|RNS-Acheron....the GRN flagship) arrived holding position near the Leeds JH. GRN began targeting trade ships (and each other to a lesser extent). I continued to take scans of all enemy ships entering the system. Finally LSF appeared and the first of the engagements began.

I will let my footage provide the details, but we soon had LN, CR, 101, GRN, Council and eventually, BAF, LH, Zoners and even SCRA all in battle.

I eventually was brought into a BAF only channel (Under the command of the HMS-Allegiance). The result of which is in the footage. BAF began to take losses and I was running out of fuel so a decision was made to abandon the battle. I docked and repaired but picked up additional BAF warships heading into the battle as I left.

Later in the day, I made a run into Tau-23. Two items of interest, the first is a KNF vessel was spotted in the area. The second is a battle that occurred between OC and JM. OC was informed and, to put it lightly, did not care. Though based on their response, they can't read either. (Proving my previous point in last weeks meeting that the OC are both unpredictable and useless as an ally against Gallia and we should simply destroy that base and be done with it).

Another slow day. A few Freelancers and a LPI pilot of all things (Kamiyo) were found in Tau-23. Brings new meaning to the game "I Spy" though.

Began with encountering a Freelancer liner (Bayron) in the Tau-31 system. Vessel was heavily damaged and was attacking local GRN patrol ships. It's load out indicates a greater amount of firepower then is standard for this class of vessel but otherwise, nothing to unusual about it.

Tau-23 proved to be rather interesting. While following some IMG vessels (IMG|Laura.Huntington) around, I encountered a Nomad Purifier near Java station. To say this is unusual would be an understatement. More unusual still was that the IMG made statements that they have encountered the nomads here before without issue.

Within a short time, a GRN patrol entered the area (GRN|Gregor.Lambard). More bizarre was that the nomad appeared to be responsive and peaceful towards the GRN. GRN also made a direct statement that they are ordered not to attack Nomads unless directly provoked.

This strangeness was further compounded by what came next. A Gallic Cruiser de-cloaked next to the Nomad cruiser, armed with nomad weaponry and a nomad cloaking device (RPC-Vatan). The conversation that came next indicates that GRN are both aware of the ship, and are ordered not to bother it. This may be a sign of a deeper Nomad/GRN connection then we previously believed.

The monitoring was disrupted when a Council bomber entered the area resulting in a running fire fight. I took advantage of the moment to quietly exit.

On a final note, I made quiet contact with the IMG in the area who was talking with these groups. Based on the conversation and the brief chat I had with her, I believe their is a possible ally in her against the GRN. I will keep you posted on further developments.
