Herr Schwarzkopf and myself carried on the evenings patrols following Fregattenkapitaen Kriegers end of shift. We were in the action of accomplishing a number of missions when we received general system transmissions from a Kusari pirate, later to be identified as Faysom.Anom of the Nova-PG. He was piloting a blood dragon bomber and was in the act of holding up a trader in the debris field between New Berlin and Brandenburg. As we moved to intercept we caught site of a lone Outcast, by the name of Gneisenau piloting a saber.
As we discussed our plan, Schwarzkopfs vessel suffered a critical malfunction and he was forced to land and power down. Now flying solo, I threw caution to the wind and raced to where I presumed the pirates to be located, now in the process of assaulting Repex-868.
I arrived on scene to find the the two pirates and the Repex train exchanging fire in New Berlin orbit, in order to disrupt the battle before the trade ship could be destroyed I fired several times upon the dragon bomber followed by demands that it leave the system. The bomber sustained heavy damage and began to flee, at which time I turned my attention to the Outcast, who also broke and fled.
As I was still in the process of setting up my vessel, and saying my good prayers that I had not been fully engaged at the time given my lack of proper equipment I proceeded to set myself up properly in anticipation of the next encounter.
Shortly after Bundschuh-Dobermann and [BU]K.Konstantin entered New Berlin local and proceeded to pirate a trade vessel. I challenged their presence, demanding they remove themselves or be engaged. Both were flying Sabers. At this time, however, [RHA] Johann_Hartmann additionally announced his presence, further complicating issues.
Opting to settle each issue as they came and rather than pick fights I could not hope to entertain I charged the BU vessels and demanded their immediate departure to which they agreed, much to my surprise. I then moved to track down the Hessian who proceeded to engage me by Dortmond in a heavy Hessian fighter.
I seemed to be more than a match for him however and he sought to escape At which time a rather unfortunate systems failure caused my Wrath to temporarily lose power, at which time the damaged Hessian made his escape.
The final item of note was a second encounter with Bundschuh Dobermann, now with several Rheinland officers in his hold. I demanded that he release them and be allowed to attempt an escape with his life or suffer destruction. He opted for the former.
