-=INCOMING TRANSMISSION=-

Subject: Economic Event Purposal
Priority: Uuuu~

Good day, business associates, contractors, rivals, administrators, moderators, and fellow gits and buffoons. Planetform Incorporation is in a bit of a bind and needs your help.

Prior to the Gallic Invasion, Perth Station had a wing dedicated to studying examples of Gaian Wildlife, with many specimens being cataloged and studied for various commercial exploitation applications. When Gallia invaded Edinburgh, our research staff managed to evacuate most of the specimens to Planet Harris and continued their research.

As it turns out, exposure to terraforming agents has a peculiar effect on most Gaian creatures. It seems to cause them to breed out of control, and more often than not, mutate into zerg-like proportions. Now, due to the fact that Planetform's research staff consist of Spineless Corporate Yes-men, Furry Fetishists, and Complete Pillocks, this breeding process has been going unchecked and the excess Gaian creatures are now threatening to take over all of Harris.

Previously, Corporate has done it's best to ignore solve the problem and hope it goes away, but the remaining Bretonian Royal Marine contingent on Harris is starting to get grumbly and threatening legal action/shooting people whos insurance we have to pay.

Because of this, it's time to get those critters out of there! Planetform has been working hard to get the critters shipped off Harris and dumped on someone for whom we have no legal liability. Now that most of the legal bribery has been completed, it's about time to get the convoys rolling.

However, those ruddy hooligans the Gaians surely haven't noticed all this. So the impending convoy event is likely to attract their attention. The same holds true of the Gallic Rearguard in Tau-31. Planetform has beefed up security in anticipation of this eventuality and is getting ready for a shipping campaign.

What we purpose for this event is thus:

  1. For one week, starting Sunday, June 29th, and ending on the following saturday, Gaian Wildife buy prices on Harris will be lowered, and sell prices will be jacked up accordingly.
  2. The main buy locations will be Bonn Station (as per our deal with Planetform/RFP), Newark Station (as part of an expansion to the Liberty Market), and Roppoppoppongi station (Ame-chan is buying gaian creatures to search for FuzzyThing [And for food!])
  3. But of course the Gaians aren't to be left out. Islay base will also get a huge increase in buy price for Gaian Wildlife raided from Planetform Shipments. It is their intent to return these noble, gentle creatures to their home.
  4. A possible minor buy-point is Invergordon spaceport, to go with the ongoing Forres Project.
  5. Possibly give a sell point for GRN ships stealing cargo from Planetform as well.
  6. Planetform and Synth Foods will be the main players, but technically anyone who can dock on Harris can participate. Planetform really dosen't care WHERE the gaian creatures go, so long as they're gone.
  7. In general, the profit margins for Gaian Wildlife should be atleast 300% of normal. Preferably much more. Just as insanely OP as can be allowed.
  8. After the week is up, Gaian Wildlife on Harris will be less profitable for about another week, once the glut has ended.

All in all, this event promises to 1: Make Planetform buttloads of money, 2: Give the Gaians and GRN/GRP/etc something to do, and 3: save Harris from being overrun!

Factions like QCP, BHG, or the odd BAF can participate as Planetform escorts. Junkers Congress are technically friendly toward Planetform due to the aforementioned Forres project. Other pirates, mollys, unioners, etc are free to raid any transports as they normally would.

Naturally indy Planetformers (if there are any @~@) can participate, although it'd be best if they simply joined the faction for epic monies.

I'd recommend whichever dev or admin that is in charge of economic events get in touch with my desk at once to get the nuts and bolts worked out.

Thank you, and good evening!
