After almost two years of his resignation, former Polizei Direktor Hans Regenkurt is slowly walking in a park on New Berlin. Looking around , he has not much to do, trying to "enjoy" the loads of free time of a freelancing pilot. Although he usually flies his "decomissioned polizei Marauder, and only on rare occasions. As he is trying to pass the time, he notices a Federal Polizei advertisment on one of the buildings. After a few moments of thinking, he turns around and heads to the nearest tram towards Niebelung Polizei Plaza.
Walking in through the door, all the memories of his service time comes back and he starts to miss the thrill of a mission, the amusement he felt of some loony pilots and the pride he felt when he managed to catch criminals. He didn't hesitate, walked straight to the doorman officer. -Hallo, long time we didn't meet. I hope everything's all right. Give this to the Inspekteur or the Direktor if they get in.
- he said, while handing an envelope to him.
Then he turned around and left. Inside the envelope was a letter, probably written a bit ago, cause it was a bit thorn and dusty.
Quote:Herr Inspekteur, Herr Direktor!
You might or might not remember me, former Polizei Direktor Hans Regenkurt. I have resigned from active service about 2 years ago, however, ever since I left, I am debating with myself if I've made the right choise. Today, I've finally managed to make things clear, therefore, I'm kindly requesting my re-establishment in the ranks of the Federal Polizei.
I am aware that this is a rahter unusuall request, however I do feel that this is the duty I have to fulfill and is the best way I can serve my country.
I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.
With respect,
Hans Regenkurt.
As Hans left the building, he looked around, feeling refreshed and excited as always. After staring at the park in front of the polizei pala a bit, he turned his attention to more important things to take care of. Like getting the dust and rust off o' his faithful spacecraft.
