Kain walks into the bar. Without any delay, he looks around and spots the test terminals. He walks straight towards them with no hesitation and enters the following into the first terminal...

"Hmm" thinks Kain after the beeping stops. Apparently the first terminal has some issues. Kain moves over to the next terminal and enters the following....

Real Name: Kain Mateo
Age: 25

Skills: I'm an experienced pilot. I've been around the entire Sirius Sector and am familiar with the different systems. I've also learned a decent amount of ship engineering. So repairs and modifications to most of the stock in the Corsair shipyard, will be no problem to me. Just give me a ship, I'll prove myself from there.

Reason for choosing the Brotherhood: Who else? My farther was a honorable member and was well respected amongst the Corsairs. Now I want to serve with the Brotherhood.


Biography: Kain de Mateo, born 780 on Crete. The second son of a family of four sons and two daughters. Kain's father, Leonardo, came to Crete on a slave ship. Leo's original heritage is unknown. When Leo arrived on Crete, he began his service to the Mateo family, and eventually was taken such a liking to that he was adopted as a son. As Leo grew up, he trained very hard to become a pilot. Eventually he joined the Corsairs particularly the Brotherhood.
For the next 30 years, Leo served the Brotherhood, gaining honor and respect amongst his fellow brothers. In one particular mission. Leo had an epic battle with a bounty hunter known as Kain. Leo talked very highly of this Bounty Hunter, since he was so unlike most of the Hunters. Besides for the bounty hunter's ace piloting skills, this bounty hunter, was also honorable. The first time Leo encountered the bounty hunter, Leo's ship was already damaged and there was no hope of survival, yet the bounty hunter let him go. However, it was not long before they found one another again. The bounty hunter had a far superior ship at the time, but Leo managed to win in the end through a lucky chance.
After Leo returned home, he had his second son, and named him Kain after the bounty hunter. Kain grew up with his three other brothers and two sisters hearing many of the adventurous duels his father had. But Kain's father encouraged all of them to not become pilots. It was clear Leo had seen many brother pilots die in space and feared that for his sons and daughter. So Kain's older brother, Dagnar, took what his father had said and went to school and attempted to learn more about Politics. Eventually Dagnar, left Crete and went to the New York system to further his education.
As the years passed, Kain still wanting to be a pilot become a trader and eventually was flying around the entire Sirius Sector. But then bad news came in. On one trade while Kain was flying through the Omega 7 system, he received a transmission from a line that he knew was from his home on Crete. It was his mother.
Apparently his older brother had been arrested and convicted for some serious illegal activity and was already being transported as a prisoner to the Houston System. Kain's father, Leo, believed Dagnar had been false accused. So Leo organized a group of fighters to join him, intercept the prison ship before it reached Houston, and free his son Dagnar. But Leo never reached the Houston System. A larger group of Outcasts intercepted Leo and his wingman. Some of Leo's wingmen survived barely to return and tell the story. Kain returned to Crete shortly after that.

Now I, Kain Mateo, son of Leonardo Mateo, wish to join the Brotherhood.
