She took his offer of help and stood up. The fire was not producing heat anymore, the cool air was refreshing. "As long as the new day is as good as today has been...." She runs her hand through her hair, happily surprised it hadn't knotted again. "You know, I don't really want the night to end."
The two walked back into the house where the glow of the oil lamp was almost as comforting as the fire had been. She looked around the room again, the old world beauty of it still took her breath away. "It's like stepping back in time." she commented, just loud enough for Doc to catch what she was saying.
