Hey, I live in Cph.

What kind of stuff are you looking to do? There's the obvious visits to the little mermaid and Tivoli, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. Probably also one of the most expensive...

If the weather is nice (and the water warm) you can go for a swim in the harbor at Island's Brygge, that's quite popular. People usually grill and drink beers and whatnot every day during summer. There's often music and a nice atmosphere and a blend of a local and international crowd.

There is also Christiania, an old area of the town that was taken over by hippies back in the day, and they lived there since. It's quite nice, like a place hobbits would live, and you can walk around and look at their stuff and weird houses. Lots of dogs too. And they sell weed openly, you can get a wide range of assorted green goods. Mind you, the dudes selling the weed and residing on "Pusher Street" aren't hobbit-like, but more akin to something out of Mordor. Lots of douches. At the same time Christiania is very popular among tourists, so there's signs in English and whatnot. There's usually also music at the various venues and a lot of people hanging out, without it feeling over-crowded though.

If you want to go out for a meal, there are some decent restaurants in the red light district behind the Central Station. I don't really like that area, it's crowded with super drunk Swedes, African prostitutes and Danish heroin addicts, but I know a lot of people like the area for the restaurants and the bars (the non-dodgy ones). There is also Nyhavn for bars - a stretch of old houses right at the harborfront that almost all field bars or restaurants. If you are going off to Sweden via the ferry at Elsinore (Helsingør), the old castle "Kronborg" is worth checking out. In Shakespeare's version of the tale of Prince Hamlet / Amleth, that's where he lives. It's a bit far out of town, so if you are taking the bridge to Sweden, there's no point in visiting "Kronborg".

Also I'd recommend a bike. They are available for rental at key locations in town. The best thing about Copenhagen is that it is tiny, so it's easy to get around. Beware of speed demons though.

If you are into cultural stuff like museums and whatnot, there's Glyptoteket which has a nice, albeit small, collection of artifacts and sculptures from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome along with paintings by Gauguin, Monet, Cézanne, Van Gogh and other such masters. There's SMK, the National Gallery of Denmark, that also field more contemporary art. There's the "Blue Planet", Northern Europe's largest aquarium - I haven't been there, but I know some are pretty hyped about it.

Tl;dr: Get stoned and ride a bike.
