Guten Tag folks!

First of all, I'm alive for a few more years it seems. That visit on Hamburg was not my best move to do and I still suffer from pain. The doctors created an experimental device that can keep me alive if I use it on a daily basis. Takes some time, but it's still a better solution than death. I've partially regained my strength and decided to make a move. I've been talking with Helene and we agreed that we need to develope our scientific wing. We are good at mining and trading but there would be place for a Research division as well. We came up with a good idea.

So I have a news for all of you out there. We, Ms. Schimdt and I have decided to organise our R&D Division and make it as effective as possible. Our stations will host several new engineers and scientists who will work on different projects with the aim to increase the quality and efficiency of our vessels on the mining fields. We need to make the most out of mining so I'm committed to the cause. I shouldn't explain to you that time is money.

The R&D department welcomes anyone but bear in mind that this won't be easy. You might travel a lot to collect materials, negotiate with merchants over goods that are needed in the project. So you'll have a lot if work to do. I'm coordinating the while division as best as I can, so if you have questions or radical ideas I would gladly hear it. Creativity and knowledge is required the rest can be learned.

We already have a few plans to improve our mining turrets. In a larger scale we would like to come up with an idea of a 100% kruger mining vessel. But first we want to improve our current fleet and make all the ships up to date. We have quite a lot to do here and there. Want to conquer more of the current market? Well it all starts today at the drawing board.

Currently Essen Station holds our laboratories but a modified Democritus, called the Sauerland, serves as a mobile research lab of mine. As I mentioned I've recovered partially so the device that keep me alive had to be implemented in the ships structure. I am mobile and can leave on longer journeys without any known risks. Thats the point of having the mobile lab, I have to move a lot in order to meet other masterminds on this topic. The division receives decent funds each month so we are able to modify ships to serve it's role.
