Guten tag! A loud bang is heard in the background, dismantling the transmission temporarily.
Er, ok. Ok. Can you hear me now? Ah! The green light is going, that means you have to be hearing this. Hopefully.
Anyway, he coughs, my name is Erik Ramburg of Stuttgart, I'm here to apply for the main arm of the Hessians. The full experience! A trace of smoke is seen rising from the back of the video feed, thin and almost unrecognizable.
Right, so I was born on Stuttgart, but my family constantly worked the fields in the Omegas as Daumann employees. I know you think this is going to be totally dull, but hang on with me here. So one day, they're working out in the fields, as per the usual and then, bam! Radiation poisoning! After a lengthy investigation, my brother discovered that it was faulty maintenance of the ship they were in that caused them their unfortunate death. A little bit more digging and he found out that Daumann were trying to actually kill them! Daumann killed my parents, then my brother by making him an alcoholic! He pauses, and his psychotic grin fades.
Well, that ain't true. While my brother did die of alcohol poisoning, my parents didn't. Never knew the folk. In fact, my brother isn't really my brother either, just orphan slang for best friend, really. So I got no one, really. Military wouldn't take me, something about "mental unhealth". So I poked around Omega-11 and after knocking on an asteriod's front door, found my way into the Hessians. Not the army, of course, but rather the smaller groups. Been working with them ever since. He sighes.
But times are changing and after accidentally waking up late one morning, I found out that everyone had once again gone and died on me by sticking themselves out in the sun too long and radiating themselves to death. Shame really. So I decided I needed to join a wing that has enough people so that they all can't possibly die on me. Logical, yeah? He glances down at the recruitment forms as the smoke begins to plume up in dark grey clouds.
Ah, prior flight experience? I can fly a ship. Got taught from some of my Hessian pals. A little bit self taught too. No official documents though, nothing to say that I officially passed Flight School. Er, sorry about that. But that completes the form, doesn't it? So I'm done now?
I'll just keep my messages open for a response then.
