It is a Constitutional Monarchy, as far as I remember.
It still has a Nobility as all Constitutional Monarchies yet they do not have the privileges they would have had in a traditional monarchy.
This will add more spice to the hypothetical novel. As you would have the minor nobility inclined to side with Gallia out of an appetite for a traditional-order and power while the seniors stay loyal to the House of Bretonia.
