Our patrol went well yesterday, although it seemed most of the action had subsided by the time the rest of you managed to catch up with me in New London. Word spread fast about the happenings so I went in earlier in my fighter while I had the Argo follow me into Bretonia and rendezouz at Trafalgar. I observed this latest Nomad incursion for some time from the asteroid field on the periphery of the battle zone. After some wilde bombers showed up, I decided to go in.
I briefly found myself entangled with a 'Wilde' bomber who was as ferocious as their reputation precedes. Many did not survive that one I can tell you. I stuck it out a while but managed to give the slip. For a few moments I thought I was going to wake up in an escape pod. As it turns out, its a good thing I didn't. Only after I got back to Trafalgar, I found I must have tractored in a nice little surprise. I've heard rumors about these things and what they can do. Imagine my surprise when I opened my cargo hold this morning!
I never got to take out that wilde bomber, my guess is it came from a previous Nomad attacker. So today I snuck my way with it over to Kepler and again had my ship follow behind. There I can give it a proper examination, before ultimate transfer it to the Argo. I'm going to poke around Ames and try to find a Zoner researcher who might be interested in helping me out here. I know these things have secrets to be cracked, there's a reason the Order and the Core go so crazy over this stuff. Either way, I'm going to need a bit more security for a while, so don't be scarce. Head t'wards Ames Research Station, contact me from there. You know I'll pay you well for this one.
