If that's the case then can you make Official IDs easier to get with tagged characters? It's always seemed a bit of an inconvenience that official IDs required you to have the ID to purchase more IDs. To set up a new character you need to drop them in space and f1 to pick them up, or have someone else online to shuttle them to you.
Before, when it was okay to use the default, it wasn't such a big deal because you could fly your normal ID on a tagged ship until someone came along to help. In my case I very much dislike drop-trading, both because it's rather out of character and also on account of losing stuff in the past. Now that you'll be sanctioned if someone scans you before you get the correct ID it's a much bigger problem in my opinion.
Can the FLHook can be set to allow faction-tagged characters to purchase the ID? Or maybe a command using the tag password that adds an ID to your inventory?
