Biography:Clarisse was born to a family of respected Gallic Royal Navy officers on August 17th, 796 A.S. (712 A.G.S.). Her father's name is Aubin, and her mother's name is Valérie. Throughout her lifetime on Saint-Denis, she found it to be a very modest but prideful life, as both Aubin and Valérie married while they were in the GRN, retiring shortly after with full pardons by the King. They lived in a specially reserved but small mansion, off from the majority of industrial operations in Saint-Denis, as a reward for her family's service to the Crown. Life was simple in the long run for her. She looked up to Aubin and Valérie greatly, and wanted to be just like them. As she grew to be 18 years old (814 A.S. or 730 A.G.S.), passing high school, her parents began to train her in the arts of Gallic combat both in and out of space. Throughout her late teenage years and early young adulthood, she mastered such skills eventually with flourishing finesse at age 24 (820 A.S. or 736 A.G.S.). At this time, she was accepted into the GRN by favored friends of her family, whom she would likely not see again...
But this fate was soon to change. Later at age 22 (822 A.S. or 738 A.G.S.), Clarisse rose through the ranks up to Commandant, obtaining her own gunship dubbed the RNS-Inoubliable, which participated in several prerequisite anti-snub raids on Leeds prior to Clarisse's promotion. Ready to take flight once again, the Inoubliable working with eliminating Gallic pirates threatening the safety of Gallia for a short time until a month ago, when the Inoubliable was assigned to the advance on Crayter. Going for a spying mission, she saw the friendly faces of Crayter as a "civilian". They appeared close to each other, as if they were all family. Being that this was rarely seen in the GRN, she investigated further, gaining the minor trust of a few Crayterian Captains. Returning to Tau-31 to moor on the Battleship Dax, she rested with new thoughts to go over.
Fast forward two weeks and she is found to be guilty of treason by the Crown, when her blackbox on her Lynx was listened through and held evidence of cooperation with Crayterians and even The Council. In these recordings, she stated her new belief that Gallia was on a crash course, soon to be wiped off the map, along with several other traitorous sayings. Her capital punishment was to be privately demonstrated near the Chateau d'if Prison Station in Provence, to keep it a secret from enemy interceptors. This however, didn't seem to matter, as the gunship that was once hers came around with its guns towards her, 2 Council Obstinates and a Council Perilous come to her rescue to combat the guards. This gave her enough cover to escape to Languedoc and to Limoux Base, where the Maquis had already heard the news about her. They welcome her as she is a new criminal of Gallia, and offer her a month to lie low, which she takes. A month passes and she turns 27 years old in hiding, without a birthday, or the life she once had.
At the end of her secret stay with the Maquis, the GRN along with the rest of Gallia had since considered her M.I.A., and forgot about her. With a masterfully forged GRN transponder by the Maquis, she was able to slip into Orkney, and thanks to Crayter, was also able to contact her friends in their Military to meet her in Baffin for an escort to Coronado. She now resides on New Hope here, applying to the Crayterian Military. A respected and honorable member of the Gallic Royal Navy turned traitor to Gallia, catching the eyes of many unnamed Craytarians. She does not know what is in store for her, but she will not forget the friends, family, and life she left behind.
Her past events in her life have formed Clarisse into a person very focused on the thesis of justice, honesty, virtuous and good morality, and purely objective. She believes in this way of life. Following the rules of angelic benevolence, she makes sure to forget all her biased thoughts and emotions, being nothing but pure to the hearts of all, sometimes even enemies. To explain that, she realizes that enemies will be enemies, but it doesn't always have to end in a bloody conflict. On the field, she will do her duty, but when it comes to talks, she is always quite nice, sometimes to enemies as well. A road that millions, perhaps billions, have failed to take. Perhaps this kindness is what led her here. A new future lies ahead, one she will be sure not to forget.
Relevant Experiences:Mastery in Gallic spacecraft up to the GRN Perilous, Clarisse can potentially offer excellent combat expertise, once she gets used to entirely different vessels.
Reasoning for joining the Crayterian Military:There is nothing left but the open road ahead for Clarisse, and she wants to start her new life on the right side of history, or at least one side of it.
