An unusually high number of transports have been detected utilising the Sigma-13, Sigma-19 and Omicron Beta jumpholes to traverse Guild space.
The first was a Border World Exports Shetland, happened upon while moving towards the tradelanes in Sigma-13, its trajectory indicating it had entered the system via the Sigma-19 jumphole. While not a particularly common sight, this encounter is of potential importance when put into context with later events.
[13.10.2016 17:12:03] GMG|Namura.Maru: Good day, pilot. Please hold for routine inspection.
[13.10.2016 17:12:09] BES-Sealand: Good day.

[13.10.2016 17:13:30] BES-Sealand: You too.
A freelancer Serenity was the second transport seen, scanned when exiting the Sigma-19 jumphole. This was also deemed to be of little interest, and the pilot continued on their way unhindered with their cargo hold full of h-fuel.
[13.10.2016 19:29:38] GMG|Namura.Maru: Good day, pilot. Please hold for routine inspection.
[13.10.2016 19:29:51] DelBoy: good day to you sir
[13.10.2016 19:29:53] GMG|Namura.Maru: Thank you for your cooperation. You may proceed at your leisure.
[13.10.2016 19:30:24] DelBoy: Thank you . Fly safe*waves*
[13.10.2016 19:30:30] GMG|Namura.Maru: Please enjoy your flight.
Sighted for the second time was the first transport, this time en route to Sigma-19 and in possession of a large amount of industrial hardware, which is used in the construction of spaceborne structures and likely sourced from neighbouring Rheinland. Ships carrying such cargo must divulge their location when questioned by any Guildmember, in order to prevent the development of unauthorised installations in Guild space.
The answer was Iejima Station, apparently on the advice of Interspace Commerce. How this may have occurred is unknown, as while Iejima Station is currently undergoing an expansion, there are no active contracts with Interspace, and certainly not Bowex. Nevertheless, the shipment was successfully accompanied to Iejima, and the transport remunerated. It then departed to the Honshu system, with a cargo of helium-3 purchased from the Iejima commodity dealer.
[13.10.2016 19:31:43] GMG|Namura.Maru: Bowex ship, please hold.
[13.10.2016 19:31:49] BES-Sealand: Ok
[13.10.2016 19:32:14] GMG|Namura.Maru: You cargo has been detected as that often used in the construction of spaceborne facilities.
[13.10.2016 19:32:38] GMG|Namura.Maru: Guild law dictates the destination of all such cargo must be divulged.
[13.10.2016 19:32:45] BES-Sealand: I told to bring base builds and buy helium
[13.10.2016 19:32:58] GMG|Namura.Maru: Where is it you are taking your cargo?
[13.10.2016 19:33:30] BES-Sealand: interspace guy said to Ijima but where is?
[13.10.2016 19:33:56] GMG|Namura.Maru: Iejima Station is in Sigma-19. I shall escort you safely to dock.
[13.10.2016 19:34:06] BES-Sealand: ok thanks
[13.10.2016 19:34:26] GMG|Namura.Maru: Please follow me.
[13.10.2016 19:36:02] GMG|Namura.Maru: We have arrived safely.
[13.10.2016 19:36:08] BES-Sealand: thanks

[13.10.2016 19:36:34] 2016-10-13 19:36:39 SMT Traffic control alert: GMG|Namura.Maru has requested to dock
[13.10.2016 19:37:45] GMG|Namura.Maru: Thank you for your shipment. Please accept this bonus.
[13.10.2016 19:37:54] You have sent 3.000.000 credits to bes-sealand
[13.10.2016 19:38:17] BES-Sealand: thanks!
[13.10.2016 19:38:50] GMG|Namura.Maru: I must attend to other duties. Good flight!
[13.10.2016 19:38:54] BES-Sealand: you too
While returning to Sigma-13, a single message was received on a local frequency from the aforementioned freelancer. Communication was not possible as both ships were in the process of using the systems' connection. However, this is notable as it shows the freelancer had recently returned to Sigma-19, at this time for reasons unknown.
[13.10.2016 19:40:34] DelBoy: Hello again sir*wave*
It became fully apparent that something was afoot when the Zoner Whale marked as Nostalgia, previously observed acting suspiciously, was passed in Sigma-19, at the Sigma-13 jumphole. Previously inquiries have been inconclusive, but the behaviour of this ship may shed some light on its pilot and their motives, as well as that of the pilots previously encountered on this patrol. This one impromptu rendezvous was a short one as the empty ship and I parted ways.
[13.10.2016 19:46:39] Nostalgia: Konbanwa.
[13.10.2016 19:46:51] GMG|Namura.Maru: Good day, pilot.
DelBoy was the next to appear on scanners, this time apparently en route from the Omicron Beta jumphole, the first to be detected utilising this connection. He was later caught up with in Sigma-13, admitting to have come from Outcast space, which indicates he had been freely passing between Guild space, Omicron Beta, and perhaps even further.
However, merely travelling to and from Guild and Outcast and Corsair space, or even bringing items not declared as contraband from the Omicrons is not explicitly violation of Guild law. This is a loophole that shall be closed at next notice, lest it be abused by those wishing to do The Guild harm. Options being considered include a full embargo in both directions and a complete ban on all travel.
[13.10.2016 19:55:35] GMG|Namura.Maru: Freelancer, please hold.
[13.10.2016 19:55:51] DelBoy: For the third time ?*smiles*
[13.10.2016 19:56:12] GMG|Namura.Maru: Please be advised that Guild law dictates no cargo may be permitted to enter Corsair or Outcast space.
[13.10.2016 19:56:18] DelBoy: I think I'm alredy in your scanner log.
[13.10.2016 19:56:47] DelBoy: Oh OK. But why ?
[13.10.2016 19:57:08] GMG|Namura.Maru: Both organisations are at a state of war with The Guild. They may not be supplied in any manner.
[13.10.2016 19:58:01] DelBoy: yea but if I supply Guild with their good thats bad?
[13.10.2016 19:58:13] GMG|Namura.Maru: Yes, and would result in the confiscation of all of your cargo.
[13.10.2016 19:58:16] DelBoy: So I can only Export?
[13.10.2016 19:58:34] GMG|Namura.Maru: No. Trade with the Outcasts and Corsairs is forbidden.
[13.10.2016 19:58:42] GMG|Namura.Maru: Known sympathisers may find themselves banned from Guild space.
[13.10.2016 19:59:02] DelBoy: So how do you get the crucial materials for your mining operations ? From other houses or what ?
[13.10.2016 19:59:22] GMG|Namura.Maru: Of course. The Outcasts have no interst in supporting Guild operations.
[13.10.2016 19:59:31] GMG|Namura.Maru: You are now aware of the situation in the Sigma systems.
[13.10.2016 19:59:37] GMG|Namura.Maru: Please observe Guild law at all times in Guild space.
[13.10.2016 19:59:54] DelBoy: Ok sir now the situation is more clear to me .
[13.10.2016 20:00:06] GMG|Namura.Maru: Thank you for your time. You may continue.
[13.10.2016 20:00:26] DelBoy: Thank you for the information. Fly safe.
Pentultimately, it was a Zoner "Nephilim" Colony Ship to enter Sigma-19, from Sigma-17. Explicit violation of Guild law aside, its intended destination is the second example in rapid succession of a conspicuous technicality.
[13.10.2016 20:04:57] Slayer: Greetings!
[13.10.2016 20:05:06] GMG|Namura.Maru: Good day, Zoner. Please hold position.
[13.10.2016 20:05:37] GMG|Namura.Maru: I am afraid a ship of your size is not permitted in Guild space without prior authorisation, which you do not possess.
[13.10.2016 20:05:43] GMG|Namura.Maru: What is your destination?
[13.10.2016 20:05:48] Slayer: Heading to Omicron Beta
[13.10.2016 20:05:58] GMG|Namura.Maru: For what purpose?
[13.10.2016 20:06:33] Slayer: My final destination is Omicron Alpha
[13.10.2016 20:06:59] GMG|Namura.Maru: What is your objective in Omicron Alpha?
[13.10.2016 20:07:32] Slayer: Only observing the system.
[13.10.2016 20:08:04] GMG|Namura.Maru: Thank you for your cooperation. Please be sure to observe Guild law at all times in Guild space in the future.
[13.10.2016 20:08:09] GMG|Namura.Maru: Good flight.
[13.10.2016 20:08:17] Slayer: Thank you, i will!
[13.10.2016 20:08:24] Slayer: Good flight you too!
Finally, "Nostalgia" was interdicted at the Omicron Beta jump hole, in possession of a full load of industrial materials. While not conclusive, this implies the ships following unusual routes through Guild space were acting in league with the Outcasts. "Nostalgia" claimed to be travelling to Omicron Lost to supply an Order project. The Guild has no data on this system and will soon contact the Order to verify these claims in an effort to further discern this person's actions and motives. In the meantime, the cargo was confiscated and the transport ejected from Guild space, which were complied with.
Unauthorised attempts to dock with Iejima Station were denied due to this being a both failure to comply with Guild directives and a potential security risk to the base. Some of the confiscated cargo was later utilised in the upgrade project taking place on the storage depots.
[13.10.2016 22:04:10] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Please hold.
[13.10.2016 22:04:53] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Your cargo has been detected as that used in the construction of spaceborne facilities.
[13.10.2016 22:04:58] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Your destination appears to be Outcast space.
[13.10.2016 22:05:00] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Please explain.
[13.10.2016 22:05:31] Nostalgia: Are you a pirate?
[13.10.2016 22:05:38] Nostalgia: You want my cargo?
[13.10.2016 22:05:44] GMG|Keiji,Namura: I am a member of the Gas Miners Guild.
[13.10.2016 22:05:55] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Guild law dictates that the destination of cargo such as yours be disclosed.
[13.10.2016 22:06:06] GMG|Keiji,Namura: It is also against Guild law to transport any cargo into Outcast or Corsair space.
[13.10.2016 22:06:32] Nostalgia: Then I turn around?
[13.10.2016 22:06:45] GMG|Keiji,Namura: That is yet to be decided.
[13.10.2016 22:06:45] Nostalgia: I was going to the Order space
[13.10.2016 22:06:51] Nostalgia: Omicron Lost
[13.10.2016 22:07:13] GMG|Keiji,Namura: To where in Omicron Lost, precisely?
[13.10.2016 22:07:27] Nostalgia: I can't tell for a security reasons.
[13.10.2016 22:07:39] Nostalgia: But if I need to turn around, I will.
[13.10.2016 22:07:51] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Guild law dictates that the disclosure of your destination is mandatory.
[13.10.2016 22:07:58] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Failure to comply with Guild directives will result in ship destruction.
[13.10.2016 22:08:06] GMG|Keiji,Namura: It should also be noted that your cargo will be confiscated.
[13.10.2016 22:08:22] GMG|Keiji,Namura: What is your destination?
[13.10.2016 22:08:27] Nostalgia: Omicron Lost.
[13.10.2016 22:08:32] GMG|Keiji,Namura: To which station?
[13.10.2016 22:08:48] Nostalgia: There is no stations... yet.
[13.10.2016 22:09:03] Nostalgia: It is related with Iridium mining.
[13.10.2016 22:09:33] GMG|Keiji,Namura: You do not appear to be fully complying with Guild directives.
[13.10.2016 22:09:43] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Please jettison your entire cargo, then vacate Guild space via the Honshu jumpgate.
[13.10.2016 22:10:06] Nostalgia: I believe it's better to unload to to Iejima station.
[13.10.2016 22:10:30] GMG|Keiji,Namura: That will not be necessary.
[13.10.2016 22:11:07] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Thank you for your cooperation. Please proceed to the Honshu jumpgate.
[13.10.2016 22:11:12] GMG|Keiji,Namura: I shall escort you there safely.
[13.10.2016 22:13:14] Nostalgia: I will take Hellium.
[13.10.2016 22:13:26] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Iejima Station is not our destination.
[13.10.2016 22:13:26] Nostalgia: Wow.
[13.10.2016 22:13:47] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Please engage cruise engines and proceed to the Honshu jumpgate.
[13.10.2016 22:14:43] GMG|Keiji,Namura: Be sure to observe Guild law at all times in Guild space.
The possibility of a new Outcast installation must be investigated, beginning with survey teams entering Omicron Beta. Should any such project be located, it must be hindered even at great cost.
