It didn't even look like it. I thought it looked like a really fat Nomad Fighter (had the three tail fins, the segments, but the front had a cannon instead of that needle-like thing) that was about the size of about 10-15 battleships. After all, it has to be big to have a weapon large enough to destroy Sol.
