Kepler counts as a border to Liberty space up until 15k around the Shikoku Jumpgate. You weren't near there.

Please stop trying to paint yourself the victim here. You got caught smuggling and you got blasted. That's what happens when you ride the lanes as a smuggler. Those are the interactions you're going to get.
5th|Jonathan.Kalh and A/)- have some history prior to his character joining the 5th, and given Auxesia's stance on Artifacts, it'd be no surprise that we'd hand that evidence in to a larger authority, enemy or not, to prevent the spread. Given the Kalh character's history with the Order, he is the most experienced individual they know of to handle that matter.
And to top it off, you were flying with a GMG vessel. Last I checked, GMG and AFC were enemies.
