ok, its complete now - and i ll submit it along along with a brief description of whats needed.
the original .sur ( hitbox ) works - kinda. but not perfectly. - its bigger than the ship - but maybe igiss can resize the cruiser hitbox and attach it then.
i have limited the lvl10 BB guns to a 60 degrees arc to the front. - since it really appeared not to have a thruster, i cannot add one ( cause the hardpoints must be identical ). the whole ship is around 25% shorter than the dreadnaught and "feels" much smaller - yet a lot bigger than the cruiser of course.
here is a size comparisson with battleship missoury - not too easy to see - but anyway... they stand close next to each other... ( also visible how much more detailed the vanilla ship is - but oh, well, can t help there.. hehe )
if it gets the cruiser hitbox ( resized ) a slight reduction of armour might be in order - but on the other hand.... since it has no thruster.... it can aswell stay at 300k - imo.
i moved the center of the ship slightly more foreward, - that makes it easier to get into a gate / lane. ( meaning that the lane triggers faster and not when half the ship is allready past the gate ) - i think thats a logical step, cause those ships are supposed to be build for "easy use in core systems".
i would have liked to use the impusle engine for it - but .... all characteristics of the old BC stay the same, so it has the same engine effects.... but its OK ( those slow blue flames )
all in all - i haven t found bugs. - i m not too sure if the firearcs are fine or if its too strong with like 7 guns firing into basicly every direction and 9 guns firing frontways - but from what i remember, thats nothing better or worse than the BHG BC.
edit: the funny blue / red lights at the front makes it appear a bit police-like. maybe its possible to turn them into all red or something... dunno
