I have used a Lib Frig for a year now and this looks so much better. There are a few things that concern me though.
The firing arch on the old frig was 100% front, 75% rear and about 50% sides. I believe it is the same for the BHG one as well. Is this still going to have the same power plant?
The Lib Frig made up for its lack of maneuverability and lack of a thruster with its firepower. It turned slower and was slower than all the other cruisers and BC. With the way this new one is going, it will be outgunned from the front by many of the other cruisers in the game, including the Liberty Cruiser. (as long as you install cruiser turrets on the BS hard points like most of us do. BS turrets are pretty inefficient)
As for the hard point issue for a thruster, they adjusted many of the other HP from 4.83, like taking the CD off of the Contrans (my dreams of a auxiliary cruiser gone). So it may not be out of the question to add one to this ship. A different idea would be to park the old Lib BC at the admin battle star like that old SW dread that they took out of the game and just wholesale replace it with this one at Baltimore. That way you wont have game crash issues with the weapons mounting.
Other then these things it looks fricken awesome and is a perfect replacement for the old Lego Frig. You people are getting me pretty excited for 4.85.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.
