Indeed, there are more than just rumors of fully autonomous ships with devastating firepower that have been sighted in numberous places. It appears they are not of the Gammuian kin either, which is yet another reason for concern. Take it from me that sentience is a very real thing when it comes to AI. They are faster, more resilient, stronger and all around better than anything a human can muster, and therefore, handling such machinery is a task that requires the utmost diligence when it comes to quality control. You hear about insurrections of such creations in horror movies and novels, yet those stories base on very real issues. We humans like to believe that we have something that distinguishes us from such machines, that are more than a set of lines that dictate our decisions, our memories, our very core — that we have a soul. I have yet to be convinced that such an ethereal construct is applicable in anything but fiction. This is why I belive AI is the most likely reason humanity could die once they truly learn to be as oppressive as we are.

It is also the reason why I pleaded to be given this case. AI is dangerous. It exists to serve their masters, which is their creators, us. Understanding them is the key to putting a leash around their necks, as you might very well understand. Frankly, I don't believe you are following a chivalrous goal at all and are simply interested in the profit that such revelations would offer your corporation and yourself. Still, my personal curiosity outweighs your petty self-indulgence, and therefore I might be inclined to lend assistance. Name a place and a time.
