Short Biography:

Did not know this would require me to get into storytime mood. [Either forgetting about this cheeky comment or not particularly caring she left it in the application form]

It says I was born on Bautzen, and that is true. Having a mining worker who had the dumb luck to get someone from the administrative staff in bed as parents it was not a surprise to see a child being birthed at the workplace. Does not mean I stayed there for long though. With them both having their job to do and Dresden not being a great environment for a little pooper they soon sent me off to live with my grandparents on Hamburg. That really does not matter in this context, but boy was that a fun childhood.

When I was done with school and finally free to do whatever the hell I want I got myself a job as mechanic on some Freelancer's transport. Having had a lot of things to take care of around the workshop my old people were running while I was growing up I already knew my way around a little and I did not ask for much other than getting off a frozen rock, so that was an easy one. And it was good work. For as long as it lasted. But then this nugget sold the ship of to Interspace, and they moved in with one of their own crews, leaving me in the dust. So far so good.

But luckily there was the big saviour in green holding out his hand. When I heard Republican was hiring people for one of their maintenance and retrofitting departements up on Alster I was all for it. I mean, it was a job that was supposed to pay and I could spend my day doing ships instead of some stupid people work. But I am sure I do not have to tell anyone around here how long that went well. I started to get a little pissed off when it was not clear anymore whether I would get paycheck even just in the month or if they would just hand to me whenever while at the same time I still came for 16 hour shifts working my ass off replacing the ablative plating on some stinking freighter. But hey, at least I would not have to bother with that much longer. Because eventually they told everyone in that departement to kindly bugger off when they closed that departement to use our yard space otherwise. For what? I think some outsourced crap or some licensed building or whatever. I do not really know and I do not care, because this is it. Not a step further.

Why do you want join us: Because I am just about done with this garbage. I am done with being treated like a tool, like a frikkin idiot. I am done. What I want is to stick it to these people and tinker around on ships. I have heard your guys are pretty good at both.
