A Faraday cage that surrounds the station funnels the lightning into a Hyper-covalent sink on the exterior of the station. After entering the station the lightning is stored in the Bio-Fluidic mag transfer assembly. As needed, optronic computer systems draw or limit the amount of lightning pulled into the mag transformer working in tandem with the Bio-Fluidic transfer assembly. In the Mag transformer, massive magnetic coils transform the lightning into usable energy. Directly after this, the energy is forced into a energy compressor. The energy compressor compresses the energy into a fraction of its original space and the resulting effect is a high density energy beam. This energy beam is piped into the stations main power core. The power core maintains the energy in a high frequency azurite bubble. The energy is then pumped throughout the station as needed. Around the power core, fiber optics are wrapped to gather escaping light and transfer the light source to the greenhouse to provide light for plants.
The Faraday cage is a massive network of superconductors and optical chip sets that keep the ionic shift from affecting normal station functions. It was already installed when the station was built. Medium modifications will be made to accommodate the Hyper-covalent sink, creating an opening in the cage that then directs the electricity inside. The Hyper-covalent sink itself will require massive modifications to the station as it is set into the hull wall. Made from various metallurgy compounds of negatively charged isotopic metals, the Hyper-covalent sink allows for an enormous amount of electricity to pass through it while still maintaining a sealed environment. The largest portion of the project is the Bio-fluidic transfer assembly. Modifications will be made to the station’s layout due to the sheer size of the unit but it will all still fit within the existing station. A section of the Blackhack Hanger will be converted from hangar space into space for this function. The amount of fabrication is daunting and therefore the Altair was brought to the station to help. The Mag-transformer will require medium modifications to the station, allocating space for the machinery. Additionally, the precision required for the programming and position of the magnetic coils will require a finer touch and as such it will be left in the Altair's hands as well. The compression chamber like the Mag-transformer will require similar modification to the station. It will simply take extra time and effort to set up due to the difficulty of the installation. The Power core will require large modification to the station for the size of it, allocating space for the core that will involve an expansion of the station. While the power core will remain of a similar size to normal power cores, due to the use of nomad technology the capacity of the core has risen exponentially in comparison.
