First off, I apologize for the somewhat late report, but I just wanted to provide debrief of smuggling run to the Hispanian world Crete last night. We picked up some light weapons from my usual contact at Detroit Munitions in New York. The transaction went smoothly as I expected it too. Once my Inventory Manager, Kendra Green did an inspection of all the cargo we set off to Omicron Gamma. I decided to go through Rheinland to the edge worlds as my co-pilot Roger Gray informed me it would be the most expedient route. He use to deliver cargo to the Zoners at freeport 9 so he knows the edge systems pretty well. Our course was as follows: New York - Texas - Hudson - Hamburg - New Berlin - Frankfurt - Munich - Omicron Xi - Omicron Gamma. We made it there without any trouble. Not a single police or military vessel showed up on my scanner all night. Once we arrived at Crete we sold the cargo for an handsome profit.
As Kendra and I were offloading the Cargo, I was contacted by a Corsair miner who had an interesting offer to say the least. He offered to harvest some of those special Xeno Relics and give them too us.. For FREE!!. I could not believe it. He said that the distibution of these relics must flow. He just warned me to be sure not to get caught with them in my Cargo hold. Honestly though, like I would ever get caught. I gladly accepted and met him at the specified coordinates. Once the transaction was complete Kendra confirmed that out cargo hold was full and pass our inspection I tipped him 5 million credits for his generosity. I tried to offer him 10 million credits, but his modesty would only allow him to take 5 million. We then set a course back to Blackhack. Roger gave me an outline of the course witch was as follows. Omicron Gamma - Omicron Theta - Sigma 17 - Sigma 19 - Honshu - New Tokyo - Shikoku - Kepler. Once again we ran into no cop trouble but through out our trip back to Blackhack my Technician, Simon Hermonn discovered that our engine efficiency was constantly dipping below 80%. I wonder if these relics are causing some sort of interference. In any case, both Simon and I will be doing a full inspection of our engines later today. Once we arrived at Blackhack it was just a simple matter of offloading the cargo and getting payed. Thank you for the generous sum of Credits by the way Sunny.
That pretty much raps up the synapses of our cargo run last night. It was very succsesful. Hopefully most of my future ventures into the edge worlds will have the same luck. Until then though... Eric Zash out.
