A grunt of disbelief came from the elaborately displayed figure as a series of giggles came the woman next to him, holding a plated hood in her hands. "I do not look funny young lady." His face was in a slightly drooped form as he tried to keep a statured composure, continuing to grumble from the added measures he had to keep taking from those outside of home and Baffin. The heavy cloak and suit was something he was having issue growing used to after having to take new measures of secrecy for his position. "Mind your father, Licentia. He is wearing it cause of the bad people that don't understand our position." The lil one let out a bit of a squeak as she held her plushy fox, tilting her head a bit from side to side as her mother walked up behind her father and placed the metal hood over his head, hiding his head and face. "But Aunt Evyn dun haves to wear one.. It's not fairs..", came from the lil one as her mother finished locking a few clamps onto Brettonias's hood. "That's because Aunt Evyn went through changes to be seen in public, it was her choice and we do not judge members of the family for their choices. If your Aunt Feya married a duck, we would question her yes, but not judge her."
"A duck? Why a duck? "Because it's what I could think of. "She already drives us quackers yah know." "Why did I marry you again?" "Cause I'm....Cute?"
Without skipping a beat, a lil giggle came from their daughter as she got the joke, scurrying over to her father and raised both arms up into the air, signalling to be picked up, her father obliging with a labored huff. "I can tell without you saying that you're nervous dear." came from Vixen as she reached up and pressed a panel on the mask, uncovering the from of Brettonias's face to show himself to the two. "Guess the mask doesn't help... It's Golanski.. I just.. I have never seen him in person but its not a walk in the Rainbow Factory with him." Vixen knew what he meant as she lightly nodded, watching her husband make faces through the mask at their daughter before taking her into her arms. "Just don't mention Agatha dear. He wont know her location as its been so long already. Just focus on this meeting and come back to us in one piece."
The tension from her words could be cut with a knife as he let out a labored sigh, reaching up to rub his face before leaning in to gently kiss their daughter's cheek. "I promise dear. I promise. Wish me luck alright?" Vixen looked at him with a slight smile before leaning over to give his nose a kiss in kind. "I will. Now get going or you'll be late." With a nod he began to turn and made heavy steps from the weight of his suit as he began to exit, his hood returning to cover his head once more as he waved at the pair. "Be good for your mother sweetheart. I'll be back soon."
